Costa Calida is a 250-km strip of land along the Mediterranean in the Murcia province. Murcia is the ninth largest province of Spain, at least in terms of area. The Town Hall and Former Culture Center are prime examples of the Modernist style popular in the early twentieth century, and the Church of San Andreas features sixteenth century architecture. The ruins of the Castle of the Valez family are another great study in Spanish history.
