A lot of people don't see the value in journaling, but they tend to be the people that stop after a week. The real value from journaling comes months down the road. When you start going through things, you can pick up on certain behaviors. If there was a bad day with your child, than you might notice some similarities in what happened that day. It is also a great tool in measuring how your child's progress is coming. Since progress seems like a crawl day-to-day, going back over the months can really show you a strong learning patter, which will make you a much more motivated teacher.
