An answer to this problem is to go with an alternate method called hot wax hair removal the results of which are quite the professional finish. It is not the most recent of methods and has been around a while, but it is a competent beauty maintenance treatment and it still stands the test of time.
Because there are so many hair removal products on the market now you may still be asking yourself why hot wax hair removal is still so popular. There are quite a number of great benefits to this method of hair removal but it does have some noted downsides as well.
Compared to many of the newer methods, hot wax hair removal is an inexpensive method to go with. We all know though, that shaving ones self can be a real drag, I can't count the number of times I have some how knicked and cut myself, oww the stinging, and of course the bleeding seems like it is never going to stop.
More often than not nicking yourself happens right when you can least afford the time it takes for it to dry up and stop bleeding, because you are in a hurry and going out. I think the poor guys have a worse go of it though, because having to shave everyday and still getting that dreaded 5 O'clock shadow. That is something that we girls don't ever have to worry about, especially if we use the hot wax hair removal method.
Your hair also grows back thinner and thinner as an additional benefit each time you use a hot wax hair removal process. I mean it really seems the more I use the hot wax hair removal process, the less hair returns after each time. This makes this approachto hair removal far superior to shaving by far.
The unloved razor on the other hand has the undesired and bizzarre effect of making sure you have to use it more and more often as the hair grows back quicker each time you shave. I know many people say how painful the hot wax hair removal method is but it is nowhere near as bad as it is portrayed.
When compared to the Epilday hair removal device, you'll understand what I mean. My theory is that a man who enjoys torture invented this little gadget. Use one only if you enjoy pain; believe me in this because mine went into the trash seconds after switching it on, give or take a few screams.
It was an old friend of mine that actually suggested I try hot wax hair removal when she was due for her next treatment so I could judge for myself. I'm glad I did try because I wouldn't go back to the other painful alternatives. I think it's unfair the bad name wax removal has when it comes to causing the briefest of discomfort, not when you consider the downsides to all the other methods out there.
Hot Wax Hair Removal
We women like our bodies to be sleek and neat so unwanted body hair can be a problem. Using a razor is ok if you are in a rush but given the opportunity, we would prefer to have that soft silk like finish to our hairless skin. However, hot wax hair removal can give professional grade results that we crave. It is because of this finish that it is becoming more and more popular.
So why has this method of unwanted hair removal stood the test of time so well? There are some downsides to waxing away unwanted hair growth but there are some great benefits too. It's not just the finish it gives but wax removal is also less expensive than many of the more modern approaches. Using a razor isn't the most pleasant of ways to remove unwanted hair and not very nice when you cut yourself!
As always, a cut from shaving doesn't want to stop bleeding and it will always happen just as you intend to go out. Still, a guy has to worry about the dreaded 5 O'clock shadow, not something that concerns you if you have wax removal. The best part about using hot wax hair removal is what happens when the hair grows back; it gets progressively thinner over time. You can't even compare it with shaving because the more frequently I wax, the less the hair returns.
The razor on the other hand has the strange effect of ensuring you have to use it more often as the hair grows back quicker each time you shave. There really isn't that much pain involved in the process, the hot wax hair removal approach isn't as bad as it is portrayed. If you compare it to products like the Epilady, you definitely understand that hot wax is superior. Unless you are a devout masochist, I would suggest you stay clear of this tiny but painful instrument. I remember using an Epilady once and that was enough; I lasted a couple of seconds and then threw it in the trash can.
One of my college room mates who was born in the country of India recommended that I go with her when she has her next hot wax hair removal treatment. It only took the one visit to convince me and I haven't used any other method since that time. It's ironic really when you consider what a poor opinion many people have for wax removal systems. As far as I'm concerned it is superior to all the other methods out there but perhaps I am biased!
