Many newlyweds look for hotels with honeymoon suites because of the added extras that come with it. Most honeymoon suites are equipped with a king-sized (or larger bed), a separate sitting room with a love seat, and a bathtub built for two. They also include some other honeymoon perks, like a bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries, or a night of room-service included with the suite. Traditionally, honeymoon suites also have unique décor, making the suite look like the perfect romantic getaway. If you are booking a honeymoon suite, ask the hotel what the suite comes with. If you can’t find a hotel with a honeymoon suite, don’t panic. Most of the suites offered by major hotels and resorts are just as nice as the typical honeymoon suite. Ask if they offer a romance or honeymoon package when you book, and you may find that you can get a better deal than with a suite that is specifically for honeymoons. And don’t forget to tell them at the front desk that you are on your honeymoon when you check in; most hotels will go out of their way to make your visit a special one.
