To some others, honeymoon should be relaxing. In this case you may not choose Antarctica as your destination. You may go to Bali for your honeymoon instead. The sunshine and beaches are undoubtedly marvelous. You can also consider India or Nepal if you would like to experience different cultures.

The season in your destination is also very important

You will also need to consider the season in your honeymoon destination. It will not be a wise decision if you plan to go for a hiking tour in Nepal during the monsoon season. You need to pay even more attention if you choose to go to Antarctica. There is nearly no way to go to Antarctica for us in winter (in the southern hemisphere). However, places such as northern Brazil and Indonesia will render less problem because they are on the equator.

Without any surprise, you also need to consider the budget for your honeymoon. Again, I will suggest you to forget the tradition that the groom will pay for all the expenses. You should plan for the budget together.

The number one issue that will affect your budget is the destination you choose. Traveling to a country far away from your country is certainly more expensive. However, you can try to squeeze more budget for your honeymoon by saving money on your other wedding items.
