How To Budget Wedding

    View:
Typically, the bride's family is the one responsible for the costs of the entire wedding, while the groom would incur the expenses of the honeymoon. Today, it is no longer a surprise that many couples are paying their own wedding expenses from their own funds. However, having a wedding doesn't require a fortune to spend. The only key not to end up with loads of depths is to determine your wedding budget and stick to it. List down all the necessary things for your wedding, then keep track while spending money for each of them. All the receipts should be placed in a folder or binder so that you can stay organized and accurately keep track where your money is going. Here are some ideas to help you stick within your budget.

For the wedding dresses, don't wish for overly elaborated gowns because they are often very expensive. After all, you will most likely used your wedding gown once. Consider a floor sample dress and just have it dry cleaned if needed. Another options are, prom dresses and bridesmaids dresses are not far beautiful from many brideal gowns, though. Why not give it a shot? They are less expensive and even bought it at a fraction of price. Just choose the dress that has a white, off white or cream color. You may also search first at consignment shops or look at the classified ads. Remember, wedding dresses only worn once so you can a gently used dress at a very low price.

For your wedding reception, make sure you don't have a long list of guests. If you want a wedding on a budget, reduce the numebr of guests you have. You and your partner should decide for this thing together, make a draft of the guest and list those who you think should be at your wedding, and omit those who can be taken off the list. Plan for a cash bar instead of an open bar. Your guests may feel comfortable paying their own drink. Or perhaps, you can also provide wine and beer to cut the cost down. If you think your ceremony is in a good location with great spacious area, then hold your reception in the same location also. By doing this, you will be able to trim down the cost of the venue for the ceremony, decorations and transportation to the location of the reception.

For you wedding decorations and flower arrangements, you may purchase the flowers wholesale and just prepare a few dollars for the florist who will be the one doing the flower arrangements. Or, if you can arrange the flowers yourself, the better. You can even make your own bridal bouquet.

If you want to save money on your photo keepsakes, then you must hire a photographer that often charges hourly rates. You can only pay him for the time to do your formal poses. for candid shots, ask a friend or a family member who can take funny shots of your wedding. You may also consider placing a disposable cameras on each table with a note asking guests to take pictures of you.

Be creative and use your hidden skills and talent. Why not make your own wedding invitations? Today, do-it-yourself wedding invitation are not only a mere reason to lower down the wedding expenses, but many brides today do it for fun and for the sake of craft. there are many DIY wedding invitations available on your local craft stores, and they are often very easy to make. Just make sure you will make your own invitation ahead of time.

Other ideas on how to stick within your budget is to consider cheap wedding favors. Or why not craft them. there are many affordable wedding favors that can be also done at home, such as candle, soap and edible favors. Also, stay practical for wedding gifts doesn't need to be very expensive. instead over spending your budget for gifts, why not give inexpensive bridesmaids gifts? Or perhaps discount groomsmen gifts? These aren't require a fortune, in fact they are appreciated not because of their price, but rather the thought that they carry.
How To Budget Wedding
1. Get a firm budget. If you know how much money can be used it is easier to plan. Just find out what is needed for the wedding, then break the list down with the budget. This way you won't go over. You also have to remember things like the dress, the fee for the minister or registrar, a church donation, decorations for the ceremony and reception venue, the cake and a wedding planner if needed.

2. Call around to get prices for your budget. If you know how much the client or you can afford call around to different places and get estimates. This will help you break down the list in number one of all of the items needed for the wedding.

3. Start with what you NEED. For example you need to find a venue for the wedding ceremony and reception, flowers, a cake, a dress and more. But remember you can get a dress at a discount if you shop several stores. You can get married at the same place as your reception. A member of the family or several members can help with the cake, the food and beverages.

4. Ask for help. As mentioned above you can also get friends and family members to help you. You might know a seamstress that can help with the dress. You might be able to borrow or rent tuxedos for the wedding instead of buying them. Someone might babysit any children during times you need as a present for the wedding. You might even be able to barter to get a limo to drive you from the wedding to the reception.

5. Plan ahead. One of the biggest ways to save is to start early. You can spend months looking for a dress in order to save money and get the perfect dress at a discount. You can get cheaper rates for venues if you plan ahead about a year. This way you won't end up spending more money because you are booking at the last minute. Remember those who do the wedding such as ministers and such have vacations and other things they must do so be sure to find a minister ahead of time.

6. Have fun. Planning a wedding, if it is your own, won't be something you will do again. Enjoy the wedding planning and remember that not everything will go to plan. In this world, nothing is ever perfect, so if something goes wrong on the day, remember the most important thing - you are marrying the person that you love.
