How to create keyword phrases for your PPC Promotions

One of the most obvious mistakes web site owners make when

they are launching their PPC campaign, is the lack of

having a list of credible keyword phrases available. The

most common tool to use when searching for keyword phrases

is WordTracker. http://www.wordtracker.com

When you use WordTracker to "check" the profitability of

your idea record every keyword phrase that you use in a

text file. And use many. Do every search you can possibly

think of to solve your problem.

For example; using the advanced Golf tactics, you may do

the following searches: how to become good at Golf, how to

beat my competitors in Golf, how to win a Golf match, get

good at Golf, winning Golf matches, Golf strategies,

advanced Golf strategies, winning Golf, get better at Golf,

being better at Golf, advanced Golf, secrets of great Golf

players, improving Golf, game secrets of improving Golf

ability, improving Golf ability, Golf advantage, guide to

Golf, Golf ebooks, Golf tips, advanced Golf tips, advanced

Golf techniques, Golf techniques, and so on until you have

exhausted absolutely every option.

¡è Make a list of phrases that describe your proposed

product.

¡è Make a list of phrases that describe the problem that

your product solves.

¡è Make a list of phrases that describe the benefits of your

product.

¡è Make a list of phrases that describe the features of your

product.

¡è Make a list of phrases that describe the competitor's of

your business, their names, companies, and their products.

¡è Make a list of phrases that are commonly associated with

your product. As soon as a keyword pops into your mind save

it in your keyword file If you are following my advice you

should have recorded every remote keyword that you could

possibly think of.

Even so, as you continue the process, especially when you

write your sales copy, create your product, and begin

advertising. You will come up with more keywords. Record

them in the keyword file immediately because they are pure

gold. Even if, for whatever reason, you choose not to use

WordTracker it is important that you create and record such

a list.

Creating keywords at this point, immediately after getting

your idea, is important for two reasons:

1. Right now your mind is fresh, excited, and creative

because of the passion and emotion you have for your idea.

You will most likely do your best work during this time and

you will want to do your best work on this list. It will

become evident, that keywords are tremendously valuable to

your online business.

2. At this point, you are in the exact frame of mind that

your prospect will be in when he/she looks for your product

that you have not yet created. Your thinking has not yet

been warped by the effort you have put into your product or

the pride you have in it.

Do you recognize the immense power in this? Having this

list of keywords is important for the following reasons:

¡è These phrases will be used to drive PPC traffic to your

site. The more phrases the more traffic and the cheaper the

traffic.

¡è The PPC traffic will determine the profitability of

certain phrases by allowing you to see which exact keywords

your customers "not your visitors" are using.

¡è You will use the most common phrases of your customers to

center your search engine optimization around

¡è You will use this list when creating your product to give

you ideas about how to improve it, what benefits it should

offer, and give you guidance on what to incorporate.

¡è You will use it when you are writing your sales copy to

know what needs you should address. This is also based on

the PPC data.

¡è You will use it for writing articles. It is a wealth of

potential topics and you will know which topics your

customers are most interested in hearing about.

You will be truly amazed at what you will do with this list

of keywords. This list will be referred to many times and

will assist you in generating a great deal of wealth if you

utilize it correctly. The investment of time and energy you

put into it will be well spent I assure you.
