To many men, women are these mysterious creatures, shrouded in intrigue and virtually untouchable. This is not necessarily the case - if you know what you are doing. Once you understand how women operate and what attracts them, you can learn how to get women and win dates. Women are not all that complex once you know a little about what goes on inside their heads.

The Female Mind

Women and men think differently, this is no big secret. What many men don't understand is HOW women think differently from men. The female mind, in most women anyway, is emotion based as opposed to a man's logic based thinking. This means that most women make decisions based on how they feel. Their head may be telling them to go after a certain type of guy, but their emotions may be telling them something completely different.

The good news here is that a man's looks play a very little part in how attracted she is to him. If the guy is nice, fun and friendly, it does not matter if he is homelier than homemade soap. If the emotional attraction is there, the looks mean nothing and he is "in."

There is a fine line, however, between being a "nice guy" who is dating material and just being her buddy. On the other hand, if you are the "bad boy" tough guy that can be a problem too. Bad boys are fun, but if you want to get women you want to be a genuine guy who is nice, fun and more than a friend.

Your Attitude

Your attitude is everything when you are trying to get a woman to go out with you. You want to have a little nonchalance, mixed with some humor and a dash of interest. What you DON'T want is to be pushy, needy, clingy or be the cliche king. Don't use the tired, old pick-up lines. In fact, don't use pick-up lines at all.

If you see a woman who interests you, make eye contact and smile. If she smiles back and you feel there is interest, go over and say, "Hey." That is it, just say, "Hey," to her. Don't be touchy feely and don't ask her out right away. Also, please, please, don't say, "Do you have a boyfriend?" Duh! Tease her, joke around a bit.

If things are going well, tell her you are going somewhere the following day and tell her that she can come along if she wants. Immediately say, "I'll tell you what, why don't I just give you a call tomorrow and we can go from there." Hand her your cell phone and let her type in her number (you can have her give you hers as well), the WALK AWAY.

It is important to swoop in, don't stay too long, get the number and get away quickly. This means that you are less likely to say something to mess things up and you may actually have a chance with this woman. Be confident, be friendly and have fun. There is not big secret on how to meet women, just do it.
