Here are the top 7 techniques to getting some:



1) Ask - there really is no harm in simply asking for a testimonial. If you never ask, you may never get one. You may believe that testimonials should always be unsolicited, but the reality is that 90% of testimonials have been solicited in some way. If you don't like the idea of asking, then why not request some feedback?

2) Try giving out some free copies in return for a review. When your product is new your sales could suffer if you don't have testimonials. But because it is new no-one will have bought it, so giving some away for free, in return for their comments is a great alternative.

3) Just make it part of the agreement. If you make it clear that you need feedback from all your customers, once they buy, then you don't even need to ask. If it's a great product they will be more than willing to provide positive feedback. You should tell them why you want their comments of course and then there will be no misunderstandings.

4) Offer a bonus in return for feedback. I'm not talking about bribing someone for a testimonial. That is completely unethical and you should never do it. If you're found out you would lose all credibility in your marketplace. I mean you offer a small bonus in return for completion of a feedback form. You may not always get positive feedback, but just the good ones as your testimonials.

5) Ask for beta testers. How come a just launched, brand new product still has testimonials? The answer of course is the product owner will have contacted his existing customers to beta test the latest one. If he already has a relationship with these clients, it's easier to get their feedback. They get something brand new to try at zero cost in return he gets some great testimonials.

6) Try a pay-per-click ad. If you have no clients to beta test your latest product try a small targeted pay-per-click advertising campaign. It's simple to offer a complimentary copy of your new product in return for their feedback. Word the advert carefully to avoid the timewasters and for perhaps just 5 cents a click, you get some great new web traffic who will be delighted to take you up on your kind offer.

7) Why not hold a competition? A great way to get testimonials is to offer a regular prize for clients who use your products and get great results. Just think about the weight loss market. Imagine the great stories you'd get if every month you offered a prize to whoever had lost the most weight after they read your book or tried your product. You'd even get photographs to prove it.

How To Get Around
Are you feeling stuck? Not moving forward at the rate or energy you once felt? Have you become stagnate and paralyzed to do nothing toward achieving your goal? These are common challenges and as a coach, I have found that there is one commong similarity between all of these challenges - one commong internal barrier that prevents many people from achieving the success they desire. Once this barrier is identified, it is easy to prevent.

So what gets in the way of massive results? The answer is quite easy. It all comes down to FEAR. There are many fears that lead people to stop their actions and become stagnate. Perhaps it is a fear of looking bad to others, not knowing what will happen next, not being clear on choices, or perhaps there are questions about safety or overall health and happiness. Whatever the reason for the fear, fear itself can be paralyzing.

A wise man once told me something that I recite to myself each and every time I feel fear - "Fear doesn't mean stop, it means pay attention." I take a minute to pause when I feel fear and pay attention to the cause of the fear. What am I afraid of? Understanding my fear allows me to stay in action, despite my fear. Follow the Acronym F.E.A.R.and start seeing your results skyrocket because your momentum continues to move you forward.

F - Formulate a Plan. When you feel fear pay attention to the cause of the fear. Fear is there to keep you safe. It is your subconscious mind letting you know that there may be a danger. Don't ignore it. Keep yourself safe by acknowledging the fear, understanding it and determining what can be done about it. Your plan can keep you safe and make you successful. What needs to show up so that you can guarantee that this fear will NOT be realized? What needs to show up so that you can and will be successful?

E - Examine All Options. What choices do you have? Will these choices keep you safe, get you positive results, and/or help you move forward with little or no consequence? When you know all of your choices, you can choose the best choice possible based on the circumstances you are encountering.

A - Assess Your Safety. Ask yourself if you have done everything within your power to keep you safe. A detailed plan will help to prevent additional challenges. Knowing the plan and having options will help keep you safe and away from danger.

R - Respond Accordingly. If your plan will keep you safe, then you can stay in action by feeling the fear and doing it anyway - knowing you have controlled everything you can. If your plan does not prevent you from staying safe, you can take a calculated risk or change your goal. There are times when fear is legitimate. Listen to your gut as it attempts to keep you safe. There are times when it is appropriate to make new decisions and there are also times when you will be safe and you need to simply feel the fear and move forward anyway.

Failure to reach your goals may be the direct result allowing fear to rule. So, pay attention to it. Stop ignoring the fear. Pay attention to it, understand it, and believe that fear does not need to be a motivator to stop action. By understanding why people feel fear and then what to do to move past it, you have a new success tool that will help you and the people you help to keep in action and get results. So the next time you feel fear, follow the steps above and move through the fear to get the results you now want.
