If you want to have a romantic experience without the hassle of going out at night, you can light the candles at night once your kids are all in bed.



You can put a carpet or rug in the fireplace and just enjoy the serenity and silence in the house. At least during this time, surely, the kids would not wake up in the middle of the night just to see if someone is still awake. Although some homeowners do not approve of having wall candle sconces, everyone is entitled to his opinion. If he does not want, let it be. That is his decision. If you want to put some in your home, then do it. No one has the right to tell you that you should not because it is your home anyway. You are the person responsible to what you will put in there. As long as you are happy, that is all that matters. You can even ask your family if they approve of the idea since they too are the ones who live in the house.
