Usually a pond with moss, flowers and fishes is made at the bottom of the rock fountains. The pump is placed in this bottom of the fountain to force the water upwards. A path covered with stones, pebbles, marbles or rocks is made for the water to slowly flow from the top of the fountain to the bottom. Different fanciful creatures and decorative items like the frogs, shells, conches under water colorful weeds are placed to make the water fall look more natural and beautiful. The pumping of the water is very similar to that of the table fountains discussed above.
