How do you try to make money on the internet?

Well it’s like giving directions to a pub that is miles out in the country and everyone is starting from a different point. Some will make it and some will get lost on the way. It just depends on the quality of the information that they are given. But the ones that make it will find their journey has been worthwhile.

I read the other day that most gurus will give you enough information to get you interested but not enough for you to get the whole picture. Is this why it is suggested that the majority of people trying to make money online are not succeeding? The question is - how are the big earners doing it? Is it just down to time and tenacity or are there easier ways.

One advisable route is to get a mentor and coach.

This should be someone who has been there and done it and most importantly wants to teach others and are good at providing a blueprint. Another alternative is to get other people to do everything for you. You can get a Websites built, you can get graphics done, and you can get people to set up your squeeze pages. One business model that might be worth pursuing is to get outside sources to do everything.

Another alternative is to get an instruction manual.

I saw a programme on offer the other day. The seller was holding up a thick manual, a wad of DVD’s with umpteen hours of playing time (That’s a lot!), then two other thick books to wade through. If this is what it takes to get going on the internet then assume it is not going to be easy.

On the other side of the scale there are programmes being sold that suggest that money can be made almost immediately. Who do you believe? My view is that you should err on the side of caution.

I thought I was going to get some real quality information when I saw a site advertising a review of some of the programmes for sale on the internet. I clicked through to the website with anticipation. Who had written the reviews, why it was the sellers of the programmes! That is like letting the lunatics run the asylum – not good practice.

Instructional Videos.

This method of learning is my personal favourite and its got to be one of the best ways to assimilate information. By showing you exactly how to carry out a task this enables you to be able to move forward at a faster rate. If you forget something then a quick refresher is available, just run the video again.

As I said earlier maybe just go out into the market and find the expertise. It is available. Get them to do everything for you. Then just sit at home and watch the money roll in.

So what is the answer – You need to get involved in the internet to learn about the basics. Enough to know what is being discussed. At some point there is value in attending seminars. This is where you really find out what is happening in the market and who is making money online. Also you can get some quality information. There is no doubt that some Guru’s do share this quality information. Major benefit can be obtained from people you meet there. Attendees are looking to sell their own products, sign up Associate and carry out Joint Ventures. Another source of good advice can be received from other people who have been to a number of these events.

This is a massive subject and I believe there is an element of sink or swim involved. Not the ideal approach to starting a business online. If you have a passion and it can be utilised to give good service and bring good value to an online audience then you may have the makings of a sustainable business.

What has struck me is the amount of enterprise there is from people and entrepreneurs involved in online marketing. You have to be amazed by the sheer volume of products that are being introduced and the rapid pace of change and development.

Lots of people thought they had missed the boom. I think it is just beginning.
