There are several ways to grow a list. One method is to pay for a service that refers a certain number of prospects to you every month. This downside is that not all prospects will become customers. So you have to weigh the cost of buying the prospects versus the business you will get from them. The long term and least costly method is to do it over time the old fashioned way…organically, by selling your product or service by taking care of a customer need.

Getting traffic to your site is crucial to your long term success in building lists and revenue. To do that there are different tools you can use to get people interested in visiting your Web site. One way is to write and submit articles with useful information about a subject of your choosing. Articles with links to your site will attract visitors that are armed with information you have given them and are now ready to take action and buy your product or service. There are article directories ready and waiting for your work and they are absolutely free.

There are other tools as well such as classified ad sites and forums that cover the product or service you are interested in selling. They also provide ways to link to your Web site.
