But, how many times have these same people or their family become victims of a crime -- more often than you think!



Just look at our overcrowded jails and increased number of violent crime cases in our courts. Who do you think are the victims of these law breakers? I'll tell you -- many are naive and unprepared people just like you.

Bad guys are getting smarter every day. Just watch TV or movies to learn how to rob, mug, even rape unprepared people.

Yes, we might think our home is protected -- but what about our family? Our kids go off to school every day expecting to return home safely. Yet every day we hear in the news about another sex offender or child molester who is out there.

Don't send your children out into the world without protection. Many Personal Alarms are available and easy for children to use. A Personal Alarm is a small device which can be worn on the belt, wrist or in a pocket or purse. Pepper Spray is great to keep an attacker at a distance. But what about if he wants to get up close and personal, either by unexpectedly grabbing you or even becoming aggressive on a blind date -- then it's time for a Stun Gun!

Stun Guns just have to touch the attacker and he'll be down on his knees, giving you time to escape and call 911. Don't worry, you can't get shocked if he's touching you and the Stun Gun will have the same effect even through clothing.

Stun Guns are great when you're in a dark parking lot, out late at night when someone asks for your wallet or purse or any time a person grabs you. Zap him with the Stun Gun and your troubles disappear while his troubles just begin. Even though the Stun Gun effects are temporary and non-lethal, they are still debilitating. The bad guy will crumble because his muscles aren't working very well any more.

There are also Stun Batons, some up to 20 inches, that will stun an attacker at arm's length so he won't be able to get his hands near you. Stun Batons can be carried in holsters or just in your hand for immediate use.

Unfortunately, Pepper Spray and Stun Devices can't be purchased in certain states so please check with your local law enforcement if you're thinking of owning one.

Always be prepared and don't become a crime statistic. No matter how safe we feel, as Mr. Monk's song says, "It's a jungle out there." There are ways to help protect yourself -- please take advantage of them.
