Thames Valley Asset Finance is an independent finance brokerage based in Newbury Berkshire, servicing a growing client base across the Thames Valley and beyond.

We provide Hire Purchase and Leasing solutions to businesses and private individuals. Our priority is to provide a quality service with a personal touch.

What do we do?

As an asset finance provider, TVAF work with both business and personal clients to secure loan facilities with the UK's leading finance houses. We offer a range of Hire Purchase (HP) and Leasing facilities for many types of cars, commercial vehicles, equipment and other assets.

Which Finance Houses do we use?

We work with over a dozen of the UK's leading banks and their associated finance houses. Our current panel of approved lenders includes but is not limited to Barclays Asset Finance, Close Motor Finance Ltd, Clydesdale Bank Asset Finance, Co Op, Commercial Vehicle Finance Ltd, Duncton PLC, Fortis Lease, ING Lease (UK), Northridge Finance and Santander Consumer. We also have access to many smaller, privately owned and bespoke lenders.

Why not just approach the lender directly?

There are many reasons to use a finance broker. First we are independent; therefore we do not favour any one particular finance house. Secondly at TVAF we know which lenders to approach for certain assets. In addition many lenders will now only deal with clients via an appointed intermediary such as Thames Valley Asset Finance. However, the key point is that we can save you time and effort as we take complete control of the negotiations with the lender. This is particularly true on larger or more complex deals, where perhaps a client does not know what information or financial data to provide. Our experience allows us to ensure the finance is agreed quickly.

How do we work?

TVAF will initially liaise with you the client to understand exactly what your requirements are. We then put forward a proposal to the most appropriate finance house on your behalf. This usually includes a brief financial history on you or your business and details of the vehicle, equipment or project that you wish to finance.

Once approved, TVAF manage the documentation between you, the finance house and the supplier. We ensure that the lender pays the supplier in good time, this is typically either just prior to or upon delivery of the vehicle or equipment.

What size of loan can we look at?

Our minimum transaction size is ?5,000 with no upper ceiling.

How long can we arrange the finance over?

Typically repayment periods are from 12 months to 60 months (five years). For larger more expensive assets, TVAF can often secure funding over seven years.
