Here we are giving an example Indian chicken recipe - Chilli Chicken Masala Recipe.
Chilli Chicken Masala - Ingredients:
Chicken - 1/2 kg
Clove - 1
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Oil - 5 tbsp
Big Onion - 2 big size chopped
Tomato - 2 big size chopped
Ginger - Garlic paste - 2 1/4 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 2
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves ? little to garnish
Water for cooking the meat
Chilli Chicken Masala - Method:
1. Heat oil in a kadai.
2. Add cinnamon, clove and fry for few seconds.
3. Add onion, curry leaves and fry till the onion turns golden brown.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till it turns brown in colour and the raw smell goes away.
5. Add tomato and fry till it is cooked.
6. Add Turmeric Powder, Chilli powder and fry for 2 minutes.
7. Add the chicken, salt and cook in medium flame for 5 minutes.
8. Now add water required to cook the meat.
9. Close the vessel and leave it in low flame till the meat is cooked.
10. When the meat is cooked, increase the flame to high and fry till the gravy becomes thick.
