Like all drugs, there are reasons why people choose to take them and some may think that there are positive elements to be had from taking ketamine. It is fair to say that there are hallucinogenic qualities contained within the drug and it does offer a relaxation effect to anyone who wishes to taken them. Most people take drugs because they want to escape from their problems for a while or shift their reality. Given that this type of drug is more likely to interact badly with those who are in this mindset, it is obvious to see that taking could have many negative consequences on people.

It is also very common for people who take drugs to mix them with other substances and this can be very bad in this instance. For those like clubbing, may be used to take the edge off ecstasy or amphetamines but when these drugs are taken together, they can have serious impact on the blood pressure. High blood pressure is one of the major ailments affecting people in Western culture today and it carries its own dangers and difficulties. Those who mix their substances are far more likely to run the risk of a heart attack or other high blood pressure related disease.
