There are lots of rust remover products available in the market. There are also some common household items you can use to fight rust stains. These items can be used separately or combined so as to make effective, safe rust removers.

- Spray it again with white vinegar and let it stand for 20 to 30 minutes.

- After doing this, the rust stain should come off easily once the white vinegar is wiped away.

Another homemade rust remover solution includes:

A cup of borax

Lemon juice

• Mix the two ingredients. It will become paste which you can apply directly to the stain.

• Let it stand for 20 to 30 minutes.

• Scrub it away afterwards. This is although it may still take a few applications before it will become successful. Thus, this is safe for many surfaces, pets and children.
