In todays world, credit cards have become a basic necessity, or so it seems. These are various credit card suppliers who probably send out thousands of credit cards each day. Chase (from the JP Morgan group) is a well known credit card supplier in todays world. The Chase credit card has become a very popular card that many people signed up for and use.
Chase credit cards vary in the benefits they provide, so they are put into different categories, depending on what they provide. There are general purpose Chase credit cards that give great rates and an even better service. There are also Chase credit cards for those people who shop a lot, but only at certain stores. These can be known as rebate cards because they offer shopping rebates when people shop at certain retail stores. Some of these cards also offer users cash rewards. There are even entertainment credit cards for those who aspire to get VIP access to concerts, venues, and other events.
Another type of Chase credit card is the travel card. The credit card holder is able to travel anywhere on discounted prices. The card holder is also eligible for rewards. This Chase credit card is best suited for those who travel a lot. Yet another Chase credit card group is those cards that offer rebates on auto and gas purchases, as well as rebates on everyday purchases.
Retail cards are for those who shop a lot because the card holder gets points on purchases that are made with the Chase credit card. These points can be redeemed for gift certificates, entertainment, and others. For students, there is a completely separate group of cards, known as student cards. These student cards help to build a good credit history. They also offer benefits for students. There are also university and college alumni cards.
Similar to these cards, there are e-cards that support organizations. The organization can be things ranging from a charity group to any other group you want to support. Military cards are meant for both past and present military members. You can easily support your favorite team or sporting organization by getting a sports card. Last but not least, business cards from Chase can be used for those business owners who need to pay for expenses. These cards generally have low interest rates and offer other benefits to businesses.
As you can see, Chase offers a plethora of different card types that can fit the needs of anyone. By comparing the benefits of each card and understanding the cards purpose, you can easily find the card that is perfect for you.
Is A Good Credit Card
As you might expect, a good deal for your friend may not mean it works for you. Here is why. There are so many different cards available now that give rewards for various activities that make most such cards attractive to a focused group of people. If your friend is a scuba diver and has a scuba diving card, but you are afraid of the water and want to stay home and work in your garden, then of course her good credit card deal is not going to be good for you.
The most important thing to realize here is the word 'your' as in 'your lifestyle'. So logically speaking there is nothing like a good credit card deal. What it is - is good credit card deal for 'you' i.e. the individual who is going to use that credit card.
This is because the lifestyle and the needs differ from person to person (and that is precisely the reason why every credit card supplier offers so many different kinds of credit cards). It might be true in some cases (where the lifestyle of two individuals/friends is similar) that the credit card deal which is good for one will be good for the other too, however, this is just in a few cases.
There are some reward cards that a lot of people could be interested in. You probably have received airline card offers in the mail. These can be attractive, but you have to travel quite a bit for them to make sense. I find that they typically have high annual fees and restrictions on redeeming the rewards that makes them inconvenient unless you really are a frequent flier.
For people shopping at a particular retail store or a shop, a good credit card deal would be a card that offers discounts, rebates and rewards on shopping. Again, the retail stores themselves might have credit cards on offer that could be beneficial to you. Then there are credit card deals that are linked to gasoline stores or big grocery chains.
If you don't have any specific needs, you might use a general purpose credit card that gives reward points on every purchase you make on your credit card. These points can then be redeemed for cash/rewards. Hence, this card could become a good credit card deal for you.
So there is not a good credit card deal that is good for everyone. If you see one that seems good for you, think clearly about the costs that you will pay versus the rewards you are sure you will get. And do not just add another card to your wallet because some good deal came along. That habit will spell trouble.
