Is The Quran Quoted From The Bible? (8) - Chapter 8

The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about fear Allah, and keep straight, obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe." Then the Quran defines the Believers as those who are, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His Signs rehearsed find their faith strengthened, and put all their trust in Allah and they who establish regular prayers. Then the Quran describes the story of the escape of Mohammad from home to Medina (about 400 miles away) when the unbelievers assembled to kill him.

Old Testament:

Chapter eight in the Old Testament is Genesis 8; it is composed of 22 verses.

Verses from 1-10 are talking about God remembered Noah, the waters returned from off the earth, the ark rested and Noah sent forth the dove out of the ark.

Genesis 8 (King James Version)

1) And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;

2) The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

3) And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

4) And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

5) And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

6) And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:

7) And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

8) Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

9) But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

10) And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;

New Testament

Chapter eight in the New Testament is Matthew 8; it is composed of 34 verses.

Verses from 1-10 are talking about the Lord Jesus healed a leper and sick man of the palsy

Matthew 8 (King James Version)

1) When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

2) And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

3) And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

4) And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

5) And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

6) And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7) And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8) The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9) For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10) When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

The Noble Quran:

Chapter eight in the Noble Quran is composed of 75 verses.

Verses from 1-10 are talking about fear Allah, and keep straight, obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe." Then the Quran defines the Believers as those who are, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His Signs rehearsed find their faith strengthened, and put all their trust in Allah and they who establish regular prayers. Then the Quran describes the story of the escape of Mohammad from home to Medina (about 400 miles away) when the unbelievers assembled to kill him.

[1] They ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(Such) spoils are at the disposal of Allah and the Messenger: so fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe."

[2] For, Believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His Signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord;

[3] Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance:

[4] Such in truth are the Believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance:

[5] Just as thy Lord ordered thee out of thy house in truth, even though a party among the Believers disliked it,

[6] Disputing with thee concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death and they (actually) saw it.

[7] Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words, and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers.

[8] That He might justify Truth and prove Falsehood false, distasteful though it be to those in guilt.

[9] Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks."

[10] Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts, (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
