This is a growing marketing opportunity. And who better to market to this generation than other seniors. To be able to market effectively you need to know your target market. Seniors marketing to seniors is a market they know well.



But, are seniors online? You bet! Recent articles in senior publications show that about 37% of all seniors are connected to the net. They surf about 44 min each day and that adds up to approximately 750,000 min each day. What are they doing on the net? Just keeping in touch with friends and family and swapping photos of family. Well, yes they are. But thay are also doing much more.

Something like 59% are using search engines, 59% keeping in touch with friends and family, 43% are making travel plans and reservations,23% pay their bills on line and 13% are accessing educational sites. With 17 million seniors on line at any given time doing the things we just talked about, tells me that there just may be a real marketing opportunity there.

Now, throw into this mix that 75% are college educated, 26% are still employed, in fact 1 in 5 feel retirement is not in their future and feel they will work till they drop. Most are married or at least partnered up and have incomes of $55m per annum.

How about a business opportunity that they could build from their home. Something like 46% of all small businesses in the US today are home based. Recent research has found that approximately 32% of older workers have not and do not save for retirement. These soon to be retired people will need some way to fund their retirement. On todats news, 10/12/08, AARP reported in a recent survey that 13% of responding seniors have said they now need to delay their retirement plans because of the present economic situation.

The internet is an endless source of information for any area of business you may be interested in. However there is very little good indoemation out there as to how to promote any business you may venture into. As we all know, to grow a successful and profitable business you must make sales which means you must promote. Without promotion, there is no business.

The somewhat new process of attraction marketing is now available for us to learn. Learning this process will teach how to take several known marketing tools and get them to work together creating a marketing system that will create a web of content on the internet with all that content pointing back to you and your product.

This process, when learned and put into place properly, you will find it hard to believe how fast your business and income wioll grow.

Spending a ton of cash is not necessary to build your business. You will learn of low cost or even no cost ways of marketing. Since time and money is something that is very important to everyone, and seniors in particular, this is a great process.

If you have ever considered starting a home based business, you want it to be successful as soon as possible and don't want to spend a ton of time and money on trial and error.
