However, the newly launched Vulcan 2000 has much more to it than mere looks. The first thing that will have you stumped is the humungous 2053cc V twin dual cam engine of the bike that has a 103x 123.2mm bore and stroke, massive 220mm flywheel and forged pistons all coming inside a single piece crankcase. The huge V Twin engine is run by a fuel injection system that has dual 46mm throttle bodies and also sub throttle valves managed intelligently by an Electronic Control Unit. The Iridium Spark Plug ignition system along with this technology results in optimum fuel saving, great acceleration, and massive power.

A noticeable feature in the design of the bike is its low height. This is the result of the push rod valve actuation that gives a low center of gravity. A low center of gravity thereby aides in a low height of the structure and therefore a low passenger seat.
