Spending money on bottled water can be a nuisance to your pocket - in other words expensive. Your only means of defence is that you need the fluid to stay hydrated - just like the rest of the staffs in the office.

If like me, you are not too keen on drinking tap water straight but have no problem with using filters then this maybe a better option for you rather than constantly having to buy refills. The effects of chlorine is minimal to the health, however, some experts have encountered that after a long time of consuming the water this could eventually have some affect on the individuals health. Each of these vary in price range and work in very different ways. The idea is to rid the water of any extra pathogens or infectious bacterium that may reside in the water. Some of the products are not designed for ridding the water from chlorine, so if you are looking to have water that is chemical free then you will need to look into what kind of filter will be best suited.

Other filters are much more advanced and are more expensive, cheaper alternative that has a similar resulting affect are better suited for people looking to install them in their homes. Others may prefer to check the Ph level of the water, making sure it is not too acidic and is at a reasonable alkaline level. Generally, tap water is kept alkaline, with acidic fluid use mainly for cleaning purposes.

Tap water will not kill you and is not dangerous, but for the more health conscious people, there are alternatives to spending out on the extra money over bottled mineral water all the time. Making sure that you keep your water intake high is important to your ability to function normally, so you are better off with buying a water filter if you do drink the standard amount or more.
