My favorite recipe so far is Risotto. When making Risotto, all I have to do is: chop up the vegetables, saut? the onions, throw all the ingredients in my pressure cooker, bring it to pressure for 6 minutes, and stir in the grated cheese. It's great not to have to cook everything separate, but together. There are many recipes just as easy as Risotto, and they all taste wonderful! Even I get compliments on my cooking when I use my pressure cooker.
Pressure cooking has also made it easier to use more vegetables in recipes. Why? Because I don't have to cook them separately, in most cases I cook everything together. Many people claim that pressure cooking helps food keep its nutrients and taste. I would have to agree with them, my pressure cooked meals have been full of taste with no water logged veggies. Pressure cooking has definitely helped make eating healthier less of a hassle for me.
I must admit that the first few times I used my Duromatic pressure cooker I had a hard time maintaining the right pressure. After I learned which temperatures to use on my electric stove top, maintaining the right pressure has now become very easy.
I have only had my Duromatic pressure cooker for 1 month now but I truly love having it. Pressure cooking has made cooking great meals easy and a less time consuming task, even for us ?Non-Experienced Cooks?
