No one and nothing has power over you but your thoughts. Your thoughts create the different experiences in your life. If you are feeling great about the situation you are in, then you will receive more of that wonderful feeling. But if you are not in a place of feeling good, then you will receive more of that. Why? Where you focus your attention good, bad or indifferent, it will cause you to automatically fixate on the object, bringing more of the same energy streaming towards you.
Start thinking that everything is possible and there is no such thing as failure, for failure is just feedback to assist you on your journey. Think, Desire, Visualize, Focus, Believe and Receive for the highest good of all.
How will I know if what I desire is right for me?
This seems to be the number two question behind asking what do you want. When something is right for you, your willingness to do it will be so great you will not care if you don't get paid for it. That is how you will know. Doing it makes you happy. It is something you truly want to share with others, and it is something you think will actually make a difference in your life and the lives of others. Now it is up to you to decide whether you will honestly listen to your inner self, follow through and chase that desire.
Do I have to pretend to be happy and joyous?
You can directly connect to the universe, which means you are in total control of your thought choices. The ability to choose how you react, feel or create your life is yours. Being happy is the natural state. It aligns you quicker with the universe
Will I have to monitor my thoughts?
Yes, but not to the point where you are trying to suck every thought back into your head. Monitoring your thoughts is a great exercise that helps you see if you can speak exactly what you desire into manifestation.
How specific must I be?
The more specific you are the greater the chance of receiving your desire sooner. Give details of the desire to the fullest. Use all of your senses: sight, sound, taste and touch. See yourself with your desire and believe it is yours.
Do I have to quit my job in order to pursue my desire?
No, you can use your job as a launching pad, learning all you can about what makes the business you are currently in successful. Then you could slowly remove yourself from your job until it becomes a part-time situation. Maybe that gradual slide would be a better step-off scenario for you, allowing more time to get in total alignment with your desire. All the data you can collect will be helpful, for as you visualize your desire, you can specifically add aspects that are more positive to your thoughts.
Is a journal/notebook a good idea?
It is an excellent idea. A simple notebook is a great place to start writing specifics about your desires, using the pages to document your progress from day to day. Use milestones to effectively monitor your attraction progress.
Law Of Attraction Tips
Through various experiences in my life, I have learnt a few things about the Law of Attraction that I'd like to share with you - especially if you're a newcomer to this theory and haven't given it much thought yet. In a nutshell (and you can Google up guides on the Law of Attraction to test it for yourself), you think of something you want, an intention, and you keep intently thinking and visualizing it until the Universe sends you something that 1) reaffirms your intention and/or 2) helps you along in making that intention a reality. While the Universe can send you help and resources, you have to use those resources when they appear to make your dreams come true.
Onto the tips!
1. Give up your previous beliefs about how the world works, and just try the Law of Attraction. One of the main criticisms of the Law of Attraction is that it's not something that can't be tested through the Scientific Method. While that may be true, it doesn't mean that you can't give up your previous thoughts about the inner workings of the world and give it a shot.
2. Don't give up on your intentions. Sure, it's nice to think up of an intention that you want to come true. But with the Law of Attraction, you have to think of your intention, and then run with it. Don't forget about it! Constantly remind yourself several times a day about what you're intending to happen, and then?
3. Look for signs to see if your intentions are being picked up. ?look for those signs! If you search for them, they will be there. But you are the one who has to keep up with it. You are the one who has to pay attention!
4. Accept what comes your way. Your intention might manifest in a way that you didn't expect. Accept it, and move on! Use what the universe threw at you in the best way possible; next time, something even better might come your way.
5. Have fun and keep at it! Don't think of the Law of Attraction as a chore you're required to do. Think of it almost like a lifestyle choice, something you can have fun and keep up with every day. Throw out some serious intentions, sure, but try some creative ones as well!
Just try the Law of Attraction a couple of times and see if it works for you. If it works, you gained something in your life. And if it doesn't, you didn't lose anything to begin with! Happy manifesting!
