Leading Cause Of Divorce

    View:
Alcohol Addiction and marriage are two things that do not tend to blend well. Alcoholism can be devastating to a relationship, resulting in an unhealthy relationship. Sometimes, untreated Alcohol Addiction can result in divorce as alcohol abuse can lead to physical or sexual abuse, along with verbal abuse. Assuming you are in the kind of a relationship where your partner drinks large quantities of alcohol, you need to be wary.

If you married someone who never had problems with alcohol prior to the wedding, there may be a connection between the recently occurring Alcohol Addiction and marriage. If this is the case, you have to try and find the main cause of the problem and take urgent steps to nip it in the bud. While correcting the problem will not make the Alcoholism disappear, rather it will aid your partner recover slowly but consistently.

While Alcoholism and marriage do not often mix well, it is vital that you remember that Alcohol Addiction is a disease. Similar to smoking, Alcohol Addiction is the development of a dependency to alcohol. Quitting drinking is very similar to having to quit smoking, which need years to be perfected. Just like smoking, one drink is all it take to relapse a recovering alcoholic. As a result of this, you will have to be careful on how you approach the subject, because many alcoholics will not concede that they have a problem. This is usually the battle that results in couples splitting, because the person who is the alcoholic will often take umbrage when it is suggested that he or she drinks too much.

If you are in a relationship with someone who has always been an alcoholic, Alcoholism and marriage may not have as dire consequences. Partly this is due to the fact that the Alcohol Addiction is acknowledged and accepted before vows must have been exchanged. Even though the consequences may not be as baleful as anticipated, it is very important that you fathom that the situation may change when you move in together. Although most women and men want to believe that they can change their spouse for the better, this is not always the case

Marriage counseling may be required to make a relationship involving Alcohol Addiction work. While you cannot compel your spouse to discontinue drinking, you can try to ensure that you two share a comfortable lifestyle together. Imposing change will only cause problems. ForcingCompelling your partner to attend alcoholics anonymous or another group may breed resentment, which change love into ill-will and lead to marriage break-up.
Leading Cause Of Divorce
If you have ever had problems with ignoring important tasks and waiting until the last minute to take care of your responsibilities, then this article will open your eyes to a psychological truth that is considered to be the leading cause of procrastination.

First, let us be clear to the fact that not everybody's problems can be solved in one day or by just one technique alone. We all have different reasons why we continue self-defeating behaviors such as procrastination and we all have different histories that has led up to our current state of habit patterns. However, there is one common variable that seems to connect all people who procrastinate.

That variable is called the “fear of failure"

Worrying that the outcome of a specific task will not be good enough, or assuming that what you do will not have any impact, are behaviors that are associated with the psychological habit of procrastination. This habit is directly linked to the fear of failure. In other words, if you look within yourself and are willing to face the truth, you will more than likely see that the reason for your procrastination problem stems from anxiety and stress over whether or not the outcome of your tasks will match the goals you had for doing them in the first place. I should know because fear of failure kept me in poverty for almost 10 years.

Don't let procrastination keep you down like it did to me for over 10 years

Whether or not you have a problem with procrastinating on taking action that towards finances, anyone can relate to my personal story. For ten years I had dreamed of becoming my own boss and starting a business. With three children, I always felt that it was important to give my family everything they deserved in terms of financial dependence, as well as freedom. My husband slaved at his work to provide for all of us but it was never quite enough.

Having worked at several jobs since high school, I was in a point in life where I wanted to stay home with my growing children. So one day I decided I was going to start my own business and start making the money that I wanted.

Nearly every day for ten years I came up with plans, goals, and all kinds of blueprints for success that I found through research. I must've had two or three dozen ideas that I could start immediately for a personal business. But I never quite ran off with it. Day after day, week after week, month after month, I would stare down at my notes and say to myself "I'll start tomorrow".

Tomorrow never came

Although I talked a big game about being a success, taking action on them was a different story. I procrastinated on doing anything out of fear of failure. I was afraid to waste time on a project in case it failed. I was afraid to spend money on business resources in case the business didn't work out. I was scared that I would let my family down if my business did not succeed.

The fear of failure kept me procrastinating which prevented me from accomplishing my dream

Finally, I realized one day after looking back, that had I just took a small step each day and each week towards my goal of owning and operating my own personal business, I would have built an incredible set of income streams that would have allowed me to reach my goals years earlier. It was at this point that I had my breakthrough and realized that my enemy was procrastination. As soon as I followed a few simple techniques and started to take action, everything changed and I am now running in owning my own home-based business.

Has fear of failure keeping you from taking action?

You may or may not relate to my story. However, as stated previously, I can bet that some form of procrastination is keeping you from achieving a goal in life. Whether it's similar to mine in terms of financial abundance, health-related, or has to do with relationships, whatever it is - it can all change if you allow yourself to understand just how much of an impact the fear of failure has on influencing procrastination.
