For the last few months, LG have really been setting out their stall for what they think is the way forward for mobile phones. The whole new journey they're taking us down really began in October 2007, with the release of a phone that was destined to grab people's attention, and make them marvel at the brilliance of what they were seeing. That phone, as if anyone couldn't guess, is the Viewty, LG's most successful phone ever. But little did people know, that quantum leap had been in planning way earlier, going right back to the LG Chocolate.

You see, LG had a two-stage attack in mind; first came mobile phones such as the Chocolate, the Shine and most notably, the Prada. During that phase, it became obvious that they were refining the looks, and getting those right. The game was on to make an ultra-sleek mobile phone, and it culminated in the Prada, a phone with a designer label attached, that rapidly aimed for the title of sleekest phone ever. However, it wasn't just about looks, as it hinted at what was to come, with its full touchscreen interface. Anyone thoughtful enough should've guessed what was coming, because now the looks were perfected, it was time to add power in to the mix.

That power came in the shape of the LG Viewty, one of the single best-selling mobile phones in history, thanks to its amazing looks (handed down from the Prada), and its frankly awesome 5 megapixel camera. With incredible lenses, and levels of technology only previously seen in dedicated digital cameras, it was the first mobile phone to really embody LG's whole new philosophy.

From now on, their goal was to sell mobile phones that did tons of stuff, all while looking better than any other phone in the world. And it's in that vein that the beautiful new LG Secret is strutting its stuff!
