List Building Your Way To Internet Riches!

    View:
So what do I mean when I say your list. Your list is simple a list of people that have given you the ok to contact them through email. Once you have been given the ok, it is up to you to build a relationship with them so that they learn to trust you and your opinions. This allows you to market products that are related to your list. Make sure once you've gained these peoples trust, you don't go and spoil it by recommending inferior products just to make a sale as nothing sends people to the unsubscribe button quicker.

You must learn to manage your list properly as you don't want to be accused of spamming as this can get you, your domain and your ISP banned and even be sued. Always ensure that you have received permission to send emails and always provide a simple way for people to unsubscribe from the list. Once you have their permission, create a good rapport with them. Show them that your ultimate goal is their success, that you're not just in this to make a quick buck. Offer them free advice and products that will bring them success. Make sure that you're not wasting their time with the emails you send them. Each and every email has to have an impact and be to the point. Most people already get too many emails and you'll have a limited time to get their attention.

So how do I get myself a slice of this pie I hear you ask? It starts with an opt-in form on your website. I would put one at the top of each webpage and one at the very bottom of your web pages. Make sure you are just asking them for the minimum amount of information you need. There should be no reason why you need anything more than their email address and their name. Make it as simple as possible for them to sign up. Given them an incentive to join your list. A free product which you send them once they've signed up or maybe access to a secure area of the site which has a lot more information not available to anyone else. Make sure what you're offering them really is worth something to them as this is your first contact, and will shape your relationship for the future.

The next step is to start to build that relationship through your emails. Before you starting sending out emails, you need to find out what it is your audience need answered. What problems do they have that you can help answer. What goals do they have that you can help them achieve. Once you know this, you can begin to send them emails with this information. The result, you will start to have a captive audience that will listen to your advice because they know the information you are going to give them is worth something to them. This step is vital to do before you ever start trying to sell them anything. You need your audience to know that the most important thing to you is the success of each individual.

Then comes the good part. Starting to sell products and services to your list. Once again, look at the list you made earlier about what it is your audience need answered or what it is they want to achieve and either create a product that solves these problems or find other peoples products that will do this. The internet is full of other peoples products that you can sell for a commission that you will get back. There are many people make millions of dollars a year doing just that very thing. One of the best sources to find products is ClickBank.

One last thing to mention. Once you do start selling to your list, don't forget about maintaining that relationship and keep offering them nuggets of free advice and products. This way, you can keep that level of trust and continue selling to your list over and over again.
