Do you ever feel that you are rushing around aimless in the dark? Like you are rushing blindfolded with your hands outstretched, hoping that you don't bang into anything that will break or at a minimum leave a bruise? Life can certainly get overwhelming at times. Amidst our numerous ToDo's and obligations, we can lose connection with ourselves. Feeling lost, we go on auto pilot and before we know it weeks, months or years have gone by along with our sense of purpose and passion.



Most of us are comfortable with setting goals and priorities to complete a task list. And while I support this habit, I present you with a similar challenge that will bring focus to your day. How would your life be better if every day you allied with your values and increased your awareness of your thoughts and feelings? Your challenge this month is to foster living with intention.

There are many intentions that you can choose each day. The kind of intention I am encouraging you to reflect upon is defined by your intrinsic value system. Taking time to ponder your values will give them presence in your day. They will help you through decision making, feeling your feelings and communicating with others.

Right now, step out of the darkness and set a value driven intention. Not only will you feel an increased sense of self, you will also become more present. Knowing who we are in every instant of our days is critical to feel empowered.

Reality Check

You aspire intentionally when you:

* Become clear about your values and pledge to practice them each day.

* Allow your values versus other's opinions to lead your opinions.

* Take a moment each day to ascertain HOW you can bring your values to you day.

* Check in with your intention before reacting to your feelings or other's requests.

* Reflect on your day's intention and discover how it helped you.

Fearless Integration

1. Take a moment and contemplate your values. Examples of values include authenticity, rejuvenation, forgiveness, integrity, action or gratitude.

2. Declare an intention to practice one of your values. For example, "Today, I will practice rejuvenation."

3. Identify ways you can meet your intention. For example, schedule a break, acknowledge myself, reply no to other's requests, nurture myself, do one task at a time."

4. Remind yourself of your intention throughout your day and before reacting to a feeling or making a decision.

Depending upon your state of mind when you embark on a weight loss programme will determine just how many barriers you perceive there to be standing in your style. Greater folk show to overcome at least one or more identified barriers these as lack of time, lack of knowledge or just simply a lack of confidence.Whatever your perceived barrier is you should take some time out sit down with a shred of paper and write what it is you think is stopping you. Once it's on paper actually open to examine its validity. Normally with a little creative thinking you'll see a guise around, over, under or through the identified barrier. Go ahead commit your remarked barrier to paper and see what you can come up with your health depends upon.

It maybe hard to image a world without the latest weight loss solution been touted by a celebrity or some form of reality TV be visible encouraging some innocent individual just searching for an answer to a situation that could ruin a person confidence and health. And it seems the more you go in search of a solution the more ridiculous the solutions become.Common perception will tell you that any weight loss programme that has healthy eating and exercise at the heart of it is much more likely to succeed in the long-term.

Pilates has become a famed choice of exercise for weight loss. It is a form of exercise which is becoming widely recognised by the medical profession, celebrities; sports folk as the must do form of exercise. The benefits of Pilates include; improve core stability, toned muscles, improved flexibility and improved posture.

When your comparing the mixed weight loss programmes available you should look for the inclusion of three essential sectors; healthy eating, exercise and behaviour modification. If a programme contains these three essential elements your chances of success are desirable, if fact it no longer becomes a chance so long as your ready mentally.

Life is short and with so much that you might be doing if you might just get beyond this constant weight loss trap. Locate the right approach will give you the freedom to do the things you hunger for, wear the outfit you want and eat the things you hunger for without having the feelings of guilt hanging over your head. Once you've found it, it will be like having somebody turn on a bright light in a darkened room.
