Rust that has been there in your concrete (whether its on your walls or floors) for a long time can be stubborn and mind wrecking thing to handle, Lots of us uses oxalic acid to do the job, its proven from years in eliminating this kinds of rust stains, simply spray on the wet stained surface, or if it is on powdered form sprinkle it on affected areas and brushing will slowly eliminate rust. There are also natural ways or using organic rust remover, this is rust remover products are less harmful and non-toxic (a much preferable options of rust removers), here are some tips, all you need are Vinegar and Lemon Juice (both contains natural acids) and a sponge or bristle brush.

Clean the rusted area first, this will help to get rid of any dirt and grimes, some stains can be remove by just rinsing with water hose and scrubbing (depends on what type of stain)

Now that the area is clean, all you have to do is get a white vinegar (I prefer to have a bigger bottle you may end up using it again and again), apply it on the stained area and let it sir for around 30 minutes, after that scrub and rinse.

If you noticed a deep set of stains, you will be facing more problems, these stains used to be dark brown in color and requires lots of time and energy to remove.

If your facing more problems use lemon juice (undiluted ones) on the stain after you have rinsed the vinegar, undiluted lemon juice has stronger acids and can have better results, let the lemon juice stay for around 20 minutes or longer if you want to, then scrub (exert more power this really helps a lot)

These tips are useful to take those rust but, sometimes fails, I still suggest to use organic rust remover products for those heavy and hard to handle stains, cheap products like this makes your life more comfortable, its easy to use and non- toxic, rust removal from cement promises a shining white stain free cements, there are also metal rust removers, for your upholstery and metal equipments.
