Ask the owner or your agent if any of the luxury villas have even a small safe where you can safely stash valuables like jewelry, designer watches, and cash. If not, maybe you should ask about local banks who have safety deposit boxes that you can rent temporarily.

5.Speaking of security, luxury villas should come with security guards to watch over the grounds of the luxury villas during your stay. Ask your agent if their pay will come from you, or if the service is already integrated into your rent. Despite the presence of armed security, you should still practice caution during your stay. One danger in foreign countries is terrorist activity – for example, Spain has many luxury villas but is also home to the Basque terrorists who are seeking independence from Spain. Know the dangers inherent in the country you will be visiting.
