Easter is not usually taken as seriously as Christmas. For Catholics, the celebration is more meaningful. However, it is never too late to making Easter an enjoyable holiday as well as a celebration. The merry mood can be created by having festive Easter trimmings and adornment. All the décor would also help lift the spirits of the celebration.



Among the popular décor for Easter is of course the Easter bunny and eggs. Others that you can also buy are baskets, flower garlands and festoons. Easter means more than just a religious celebration for countries in the northern hemisphere such as United Kingdom, United States and Canada. Aside from dressing up as a bunny and leaving baskets filled with multi-colored and usually hard-boiled eggs and engaging in those exciting Easter egg hunts, another delightful way for celebrating the occasion is by putting up an Easter Tree. Yes, you’ve read it right. As mentioned in the previous paragraphs, Easter is like Christmas so why not put up a tree where you adorn it with goodies or ornament reflective of the season like cut-out bunnies and empty egg shells that are artistically painted and designed. The height of the tree doesn’t matter. Just enough to make it stand on a table will already do.

To further add meaning to the celebration, why not insert a brief inspiring message inside the egg shells and ask family members and visiting friends, relatives and neighbors to crack up one egg and see what Easter message is in store for them. Not a bad idea to zest up the occasion, right?
