Stress is a feeling that's created when we react to particular events. Stress is a well-known trigger for depression and it can also affect your physical health. Stress is a psychological and physiological response to events that upset our personal balance in some way. Stress can cause illness and physical and emotional problems. Stressors can be divided into three broad categories frustrations , conflicts and pressures. Stress affects the mind, body, and behavior in many ways. The specific signs and symptoms of stress vary from person to person. Symptoms of stress is increased irritability ,deightened sensitivity to criticism ,digns of tension, such as nail-biting ,difficulty getting to sleep and early morning waking ,drinking and smoking more ,indigestion and loss of concentration.
A stress-related illness called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) develops after an event like war, physical or sexual assault, or a natural disaster. Stress compromises your talent to fight off disease and infection, makes it difficult to conceive a baby, and stunts growth in children. Most of these have anxiety and depression, much of it stress-related. Stress triggers for hair loss are usually personal and emotional, like the death of a family member, divorce, surgery or major illness, or being involved in an accident. Stress can stem from the expectations of others or the demands you place on yourself. The most common reason is heredity; premature gray hair is yet another thing we can blame on our parents. A B-12 deficiency, a thyroid imbalance, and anemia can all cause premature gray hair.
Don't rub your hair with a towel to remove moisture. The strands are at their most open to attack at this point. Soak up the water by blotting your hair. Don't be in a rush. Use clarifying shampoos on a monthly basis. If you don't have dry hair, why would you use a shampoo for dry hair. Posttraumatic stress disorder is a very strong stress reaction that can develop in people who have lived through an extremely traumatic event, such as a serious car accident, a natural disaster like an earthquake, or an assault like rape. For some women, the stress of pregnancy also leads to hair loss, despite the common assumption that pregnancy equals beautiful, healthy hair and nails.
Make Your Hair Thin
If you want healthy hair you need to feed your scalp nourishment. I'm not talking about artificial nourishment but rather natural nourishment. You can apply a combination of egg yolks and curd to your head and leave it on for a while. If you do this twice a week you will notice a visible change in the look and feel of your hair. It may be that you cannot find a good hairdresser in your locality who meets your needs. In that event you will be better off without a hairdresser. The unfortunate fact is that, as most beauty shops are set up today, they need to give permanents, to sell cosmetics and to sell extras in order to stay in business. Healthy hair care need not include these extras.
Colored Hair Care:
Avoid exposing your hair to UV rays any more than you have to. Wear hats or use hair products with sunscreen in them when you go outside to keep your hair color from fading. Use a color-protection shampoo. It will be gentler on your hair and will help to keep your color looking sharp. Keep blow drying to a minimum. Heat damage will dry out your hair, and chemical-treated colored hair is more susceptible to becoming dry and broken.
Curly Hair Care:
Hot oil treatment every two to three weeks would help in adding moisture. During the colder months, your curls would especially find the treatments useful. Your curls easily become dry and brittle during cold weather, thus treatments, or hot oil treatments are necessary. During warm months in the same manner, your curls would need moisture. More so if you often go swimming wherein chlorine wreaks havoc on your wavy tresses.
Dry Hair Care:
Keeping a hair care routine and short hairstyles during summer does help to prevent novice effects of sunlight. Additionally, wearing a hat at the beach, and applying after sun exposure such as a Sun Hair Repair Mask, keeps or replenishes the moisture of your hair. However, take in mind the aluminizing and voluminzing products make your hair take body and shine but do not hydrate it.
Winter Hair Care:
The harsh cold and frosty winds can cause excessive dryness and dandruff, and if you don't retain or replenish the moisture in your hair, damage will soon follow. The best way to combat this is by protecting the hair. During the winter, I never leave out of my house without my hair being covered. I generally wear a satin or silk scarf under my winter hat to preserve the style as well as prevent direct contact with the harsh material most hats are made of.
