Imagine, for one moment that you invested for the sake of fun, not caring which way the investment went.
It would probably be a nice scenario and yet, maybe not so realistic for some people.
The need to educate ourselves about wealth is a must to increase our financial intelligence to the level where it needs to be.
This can be achieved in many ways:
1. Read dozens of books about investing.
2. Internet research the topic.
3. Learn from friends and hopefully they know what they are talking about.
4. Get a financial mentor that you admire and has the results you want.
There are thousands of ways to acquire a financial education. I chose to do a wealth homestudy program with 21st Century Academy in January 2004 and later attended the education for life seminar with Jamie McIntyre. This vehicle kick started my financial education way past what a schooling system ever would have achieved. Attending that course and seminar turned out to be of of the single most important financial decisions I'd made in my life.
Making Money From Your Investments
This is the bottom line: We want to make a profit from our investments. Sure it has to be fun. The fun comes from the involvement in the investment. As you get better and acquire more knowledge about the topic of investing, you will enjoy the experience even more. When the profits start rolling in, you will you will enjoy your involvement of creating wealth even moreso.
Financial Rewards and Benefits
Financial rewards become less necessary as your wealth increases. Here are a few examples:
1. Less pressure means better performance.
2. As your needs for the monetary rewards decrease, the easier it becomes to be a successful investor.
3. Sharing your knowledge increases your involvement and your own knowledge.
Once you discover some of the strategies that make you money in your sleep, you will discover the flip side to investing. It's addictive! The better you get, the more you want to do. Be careful you don't turn it into a job!
One thing I personally did discovered was this: Making money in your sleep is a hell of a lot of fun!
