From the northern Florida panhandle to Key West at the southern tip of Florida, there are a multitude of attractions for the tourist to visit. For example, in the middle of the state, the touring visitor will find one of the world famous Disney theme parks. At the other end of the state a tourist will find Key West, with its infamous past of rum running and the home for a time of Ernest Hemingway and the equally famous Jimmy Buffet. Florida attractions also include plenty of nature. For those visitors who want to get an orange direct from the tree or see a live alligator, a visit to Florida is the answer. If you have never seen a live manatee swimming in a canal or a stingray in the ocean, then Florida provides you with these possibilities. An airboat ride in the Everglades with a good guide is worth the expense as there are marvelous natural scenes of animals, birds, water creatures, and the gorgeous fauna.

There are show rooms full of growing orchids and other flowers. Florida is also packed with terrific places to eat. The dinner houses are located throughout the state in obvious places like tourist cities, as well as off the beaten track in places that only the locals or knowledgeable visitors know about. Florida offers year round attractions for both winter and summer tourists. Many favor fall, winter and spring visits as the temperature is great and the weather is likely to be mild.
