If you've spent any time online gazing into the murky depths of the Make Money Online pool you probably have a few questions? One of them being "Is it really possible?"

This is the basis for what is called "affiliate marketing". It is very simply selling other peoples products and getting a cut.

Here are the tools you will need to make money online for nothing:

1: A product that you can personally stand behind. Something you can and maybe use and would feel comfortable telling others about.

2: A method to get your word out to the masses. This could be in the form of article marketing or blogging.

3: The ability to write not to sell? But to get the person to click your link and see for themselves what this product you're talking about can really do.

That last part, that's the one where most people trip up or visit www.sales-page-rapid-fire.com you see, everyone seems to want to "sell" to everyone else? But that's not how you make money. You make money when you communicate an idea and when you become a friend to that person.

Remember this above all else: when you promote a product as an affiliate it is not your job to "close the deal". Your job is to get the person to take the next step. That next step is to click your affiliate link and move onto the sales letter.

What I really like about affiliate marketing is that I don't have to even think about all the other aspects of running a business. These other areas consist of all the customer service issues like refunds, customer questions, and all the other time consuming tasks. It's just marketing the product and then getting the commission.

But of course there's always the downside with anything, including making affiliate marketing sales. One being that it's not your product and you have no control of how it's sold and for what price. You just represent the product and you hope the merchant has done his or her job with all the other important issues to make the sale.

So what can you do to increase affiliate marketing sales and net profits? I'm going to show you 3 methods to help better yourself at Internet affiliate marketing.

1-Pick out and promote only the top tiered Internet affiliate marketing programs.

With the massive amounts of affiliate marketing programs out on the market, the sky is the limit in who you want to represent. You are the one that needs to pick wisely. Here are some important things to consider:

A: Are they going to fairly compensate you for your affiliate marketing sales? Just pass by any program that's not willing to payout at least 50% of the sale. Just think you are really doing all the work to drive qualified traffic to their site. They don't have to do much to get the sale once everything is in place. All that hard work on your part deserves a fair commission.

So make sure you know what you're worth to a Merchant. They need you more than you need them. When you deal with great programs, they will usually pay even a higher percentage of the sale.

B: You only want to deal with programs that are consistent in paying their affiliates when they say they will. Preferably once a month or better yet twice a month.

Affiliates must be aware of the minimum requirements to getting paid. If you have to meet unrealistic minimums month after month to get a paycheck, it just isn't worth it. Most great Internet affiliate marketing programs have low or no minimums on your affiliate marketing sales.

So if you don't think you can consistently meet their requirements, pass it up and look for another program. It doesn't make sense to make some sales and never see that commission because of these rules.

C: How's their customer service?

You are representing a company when you market their products. Your reputation is on the line and what they do is a reflection on you. Make sure they represent you well.

I suggest you become a customer of the company you want to represent. Buy one of their products and evaluate the whole selling process. See how the transaction went and if the product is really all that they make it up to be. Then go ahead and return it and see how they treat you. If you want to really market this product with confidence and some passion, then this is a must do.

2-Build an opt in mailing list

This is the thing to do if you really want to boost your affiliate marketing sales.

Why do I think this is so true?

Because building a subscriber list will help you make more affiliate marketing sales with greater conversion rates.

If you can learn to build a list successfully and cultivate trust and loyalty with your subscribers, you'll experience many affiliate marketing sales on a regular basis.

I can't really talk about all that is involved on this topic, so I'll give you a brief overview of what it takes to build a list.

A: Put together an informative ebook, mini-course, or report on an area of interest other people want to learn about.

B: Create a squeeze page to collect names and email addresses.

C: Your intent is to get your subscribers to trust and respect your opinions and views. They will acquire this if you provide them relevant and useful information on a consistent basis.

D: If your real desire is to help people, then it will show to those on your list. You will gain there trust and when you do send offers to them, they will be more comfortable buying from you.

3- Ask the merchant for a better percentage of the commission

As you are able to make consistent affiliate marketing sales, go ahead and contact the merchant to see if he or she can give you more of the profit from the sales of the product. I'm sure they want to keep you making them money, so they will consider it.

To summarize you can increase your affiliate marketing sales by promoting only the top affiliate Internet marketing programs, building your subscriber list and asking for more of the profits. Use these tips and watch your profits soar.
