St. Moritz has 80 kilometers of piste length, or 88 slopes, for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. About 40 percent of the slopes are categorized for advanced skiers. The remaining slopes are for beginners and intermediates. St. Moritz is linked to two other ski areas in the region, so it has access to an additional 270 kilometers of slope area outside the resort area. The slopes are all connected by 56 lifts. In addition to the slopes, youll find cross-country routes and a snowboard park. There is also the Crest Run, a sled racing run more than 1,200 meters long
Mountain climbing, paragliding, bob sledding, horse races and snow cricket are some of the additional outdoor alternatives. You can also ice skate on the resort lake.

The nursery runs of Corviglia for beginners are accessible by funicular and run down to town. In addition Celerina provides broad slopes for some easy skiing. The lift system is extensive and getting around the resort is not a problem.
Due to its high altitude the climate of St Moritz is dry and crisp. The snow cover is reliable, and the sun shines here nearly all year round to make for ideal ski conditions.
