Military Vehicle Preservation Association

One way to integrate military vehicles to the world of art and crafts is to make military vehicle stickers for the kids.

What You'll Need

?Sticker paper

?Drawing or image of a military vehicle (it would be better if the image is in full color)

?Computer

?Printer that can accommodate sticker paper

?Scissors or cutter

Getting Started

1.The first thing you have to do is to look for different images and pictures of military vehicles. You can look for them in books and scan them into your computer or you can simply get pictures from the Internet.

2.Resize the images to make them appropriate for stickers. If you want to make bumper stickers with pictures of military vehicles, you can choose bigger sized sticker papers to accommodate your bumper sticker.

3.Place print-ready sticker paper in the printer.

4.Print the military vehicle images.

5.Cut them with square edges or with cute shapes.

Where You Can Put Them

You can place the military vehicle stickers on almost anything you can imagine. You can stick it in the notebooks of your kids who adore military vehicles. You can use it to liven up a boring notebook and make note taking fun!

You can also stick them on the flat surfaces of lunchboxes and the schoolbags of your kids. Making your very own military stickers will surely add spice to boring everyday items.

Making A Wallpaper Out Of The Stickers

You can stretch your imagination and make a wallpaper border out of the military vehicles that you made. All you have to do is to make sure that you print the pictures on high-quality sticker papers so that it will stick well to the wall.

Make sure that the walls are wallpaper or sticker-ready so that you won't encounter problems in the future. You can make a simple border that would run around the entire four-walls of the bedroom. Military vehicle stickers would really make your kid's room more lively and ready for action.

A miniature model is an exact replica of something ? their only difference is the size and the materials that they are made of. You can make your very own military vehicle miniature model by simply using a few simple materials and your imagination.

Scale models can be made from different materials, but the most common are made from resin castings, photo-etched metals, machined metals, and injection-molded styrene plastic.

Choose Your Subject Or Model

There are a lot of military vehicle models in the market and its up to you to choose what kind of scale model you prefer to make or assemble. Army tank vehicles are by far the most popular, but you can go ahead and choose a less popular military vehicle.

Choose Your Scale

Before you begin making your very own model military vehicle, you should come up with a scale or ratio that would determine the size of your military vehicle miniature model. Keep in mind that models usually do not bother to replicate the scale weight - they only bother with the scale size.

Buying Your Assembly Kit

After you have already chosen the military vehicle model of your choice, you can then proceed to purchasing a kit or an assembly model at local toy stores or recreational and hobby stores.

The kit usually comes with a step-by-step instruction guide to help you successfully assemble the scale model. Make sure that you follow the instructions so that you will achieve the desired result.

Additional Materials That You May Need

Although purchasing a military vehicle assembly kit might save you unnecessary cutting and shaping, you might still need additional materials to assemble your scale model such as glue, paint, screws, etc.

Additional Tips

Choosing a larger scale model means that you would have a lot of detailing to do because the scale would cover a large amount of area to be exposed. However, if you choose a smaller scale model for your military vehicle, you may still need to work on intricate and minute details.

Don't forget to keep the finished scale model in an appropriate place so that it will not be destroyed. If your kit needs some time to dry due to glue or paint, make sure that you let it dry in a safe and well-ventilated place so that the materials will not deteriorate.
