MLM Advertising should be no different to any other business advertising. Having said this however, it is important to realise that there will potentially be hundreds of other network marketers also advertising their products/services and or mlm business opportunity. So the most important thing you can you is firstly, work out who is your target market, and then how you are going to effectively reach them through mlm advertising. Now you may say that your market is everyone in the world, but this simply cannot be true. Is your idea limited to English-speaking people with access to the Internet? Does your mlm business limit its business to the USA and Canada? It is important to start with the largest audience possible, and then work right down to a small niche of people you want to reach. It is also advisable to stick to a demographic that you can relate to, or preferably belong to. This way you will be better able to coach and lead any new recruits that join your business.



MLM advertising doesn't have to cost you the earth, but it would be wise to allocate a budget. At first this may not be possible because you aren't sure how effective your chosen method of advertising will be, especially if you are going to advertise online.

Most mlm companies will provide you with a default landing page enticing people to buy their product or service, but simply advertising this page won't do you any good, as there will be many more people advertising a page just like it, and the search engines will probably ignore them all. I would suggest that you design a test ad to begin with, just a short headline and selling phrase which you can then use in a number of online campaigns, or in mlm classified ads. Here is an example:

Matt's Miracle Cream Do you want to be rid of those unsightly wrinkles? Matt's Miracle Cream will start to reduce wrinkles in just 2 weeks!

You can certainly link this kind of ad to your mlm advertising page, because the people that click on the link will be specifically interested in what you are offering.

So where to advertise this kind of ad? Well, a good place to start is Pay-Per-Click search engines. Many offer a free staring balance, and you only pay when someone actually clicks on your ad. Along the same lines is Google's AdWords and Yahoo! also offer a similar service. All of these services should offer you a tool to set a daily/monthly budget so you can control how much you are spending.

What about free mlm advertising I here you say... Well, why not write up an article or two relating not specifically to the product or service you are selling, but more generally about the topic relating to you product or service. For instance, for Matt's Miracle Cream I might write an article about what causes wrinkles, or how to naturally reduce them. At the bottom of my article I would inlcude my above text ad and publish the article on as many free online e-zines as I could. Some e-zines will not allow you to place an advertisement, but you could end the article with simple signature such as - "For more information on how to reduce wrinkles, please feel free to email the author". This can be a double positive, because now you have an interested person actually asking you personally to help them.

There are hundreds of free places for you to place your ads, but please steer clear of ?free for all? (FFA) pages. Search engines will really punish you if they find your link there, plus you will not find any decent traffic there at any rate.

If you have the time, create your own website talking about the different issues and solutions to your product and service. Blogging is a great way to achieve this for no cost. Free resources like blogspot.com will get you setup in just a few minutes, and then you can publish your own articles however you like! Just remember, the more information you provide and the more relevant it is, the more visitors your site will receive.
