1)Do Write Compelling Headline

Headline is the most important element in any sales page or squeeze page. It serves two purposes:

(i)To capture your visitors' attention

Most visitors need only a few seconds to decide whether they want to stay on your webpage. Your headline is going to determine how long they stay. Make sure that your headline is large enough with a bold font.

(ii)To state the ultimate benefit of your product

The ultimate benefit depends on what you are "selling". For an MLM squeeze page, what is the ultimate benefit of subscribing to your list? Will you show them how to recruit one million downline members in 30 days?

Of course, I am just exaggerating. My point is that you need to state very clearly the ultimate benefit your visitors will get if they join your list. If there are more than one benefit, choose the most compelling one as your headline.

2)Do Have Multiple Squeeze Page

As a network marketer, you will want to acquire more customers as well as other distributors. You will need a different squeeze page to handle different group of people.

If you are targeting distributors, you will want to emphasis benefits like residual income. time freedom, etc. Most of the time, distributors are more attracted to the opportunity to make more money rather than the product. Therefore, advertising the product in front of them is not going to work.

If you are targeting potential customers, you will want to emphasis the benefits of your product. I recommend that you focus on acquiring customers first before looking for more distributors. Ultimately, it is the sales of product that is going to earn you a long term residual income.

3)Do Include Bonus

Some people call it the ethical bribe. Basically, you can offer a free gift in exchange for opting into your list. The bonus can be an eBook, a 7 days eCourse or a short report. Most importantly, the bonus should really be useful and valuable to your subscribers.

Make sure that your bonus is relevant to your audience. Parrot training eBook is not going to appeal to hamster owners.

If you are targeting potential distributors, you may want to offer a short report, "Top 5 reasons why 95% of network marketers fail".

Let's move on to the don'ts

1)Don't Include Adsense or Any Irrelevant Links.

There are people who include Adsense on their squeeze page. Why would they want to do that? It is simply not worth it to lose a subscriber just for a few cents.

The only links that you should have are your privacy policy, disclaimers, term of use and other links that are important or contribute to your site conversion rate.

2)Don't Collect Too Much Information

It is recommended that you capture only their name and email address. Firstly, it makes it easier for your visitors to opt-in and secondly, your visitors get to protect their own privacy. Most people do not want to give out sensitive information when they first visit a website.

You can always try to collect more information to them after you have built your relationship with them.
