Many women who have had a life of working out the home and is now a stay at home mom may feel that they are morning the lost of the old person they once were because once the baby has arrive your life is no longer the same, you may feel it is no longer your own.

Reinventing yourself

You may realize that you have to reinvent yourself because you are not accustoming to this new way of being.

The super woman you once new or the woman you thought you would be once you have a child because you have family and friends with children and you were quick to judge how they raise their children now you have a different understanding.

Having to make choices

The things that seem to be important before the baby arrive have taken a back seat to what is driving you.

Time seems to be the most important thing in your life and so you need to make choices that in the past you would not accept of yourself.

Some of these choices may seem not important to others yet to you can relate to them such as when do you have the time to bath, get your hair done or go out and have a conversation with your good friend.

Being responsible 24/7

Now you are a mother you cannot do what you want because the child is 24/7 with you, you are no longer alone there is someone else that is depending on you for life.

You may feel as a failure because you may see other mothers and compare yourself to them as they are doing better than you which may not be true.

Need support

Attempting to do all of it by yourself and be a super woman as you did before your child came into your life is hurting you and your family.

You need support because it is healthy to have someone to share your fears and insecurities that you maybe going through after all it is your first time having a baby.

Feeling competition from other women

You may feel competition from other women because you are now a stay at home mom or you are still working and you need to make some choices.

It is for you to know that you cannot please everyone and their will always be someone who would like you to do more or against what you are doing although you are doing the best you can for your child.

Difference with the first or second child

You may notice that you feel difference with the first child and the second child because you feel more secure, you have a little more experience, you know a little more what to do, and you are more organize.

Sex, what is it?

Sex what is it are the words you may say after you have just given birth and you will be feeling the same as most women. You may even wish to trade your husband in for a housekeeper for a time.

You may feel you have just gone through a changing experience in your life and you are constantly asked to give more of yourself, time for yourself is absent.

You know that sex is an important part of your relationship and you hope your husband will understand that in time when your body recovers you will be able to.
