There are several homemade acne remedies that work very well for a lot of people. One of the major causes of acne is the excess of sebum which leaves a thin oily layer covering the skin and clogs the pores this in turn ends up with many skin disorders such as pimples or zits, white head, black head etc. Homemade remedies usually do not have side effects as long as they are made out of organic substance. Here you can find few examples of such remedies.
1. Avoid consumption of processed foods, and stick to more natural fruits and vegetables. No foodstuff has ever been scientifically proven as reason for acne; however, if you have a food allergy, the allergic reaction often consequence acne. Many people have food allergy, and go off their entire life without knowing it. Don't suppose that a food allergy will leave you unconscious on the floor - the allergic reaction can appear in many forms, like acne breakouts. 2. Acne begins in the interior of the body, not on the surface of the skin. Drink plenty of water - as a minimum eight glasses per day - to aid detoxify your body and cure acne. Besides consume plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
3. For home treatment for acne, apply an oatmeal mask at least once or twice a week. Cook oatmeal, and whilst it is still warm (not scalding hot) apply it to your whole face. Let the oatmeal to dry out, and then wash it away. You can also use dried oatmeal, dampened - but not cooked - with warm water as a facial scrub to exfoliate the skin and clean the pores.
4. Try getting some sunshine every day, if you are not taking any medications that could cause you to be overly sensitive to the sun. The reason is not to tan to conceal the acne. Instead, the sun in fact kills the germs, and dries up the sebum oil that produces acne. This is a common home treatment for acne that doesn't cost anything.
5. Apply essential oils, such as Tea Tree Oil, Bergamot Oil, Clove Oil, Lavender Oil, and Rosewood Oil. For sensitive skin, dilute the oil with grapes seed oil. Apply the oil before going to bed at night, then clean it away in the morning with a pure soap, such as Ivory, and clean water.
6. Many natural ingredients are available for the safe treatment of acne, which makes your skin free of pimples, scars and cysts. Fresh Fruits like papaya, tomato and lemon are used to overcome skin disorders which give rise to acne. Different herbs such as garlic, mint, cinnamon, nutmeg, fenugreek, turmeric, radish and sesame seeds protects and prevents your skin against acne. These are also useful for getting rid of toxins, alleviating inflammation and fighting against bacteria. Following are some natural remedies for treating acne:
a)Juice of raw papaya is useful for treating swelling pimples.
b)A mixture of fresh lemon juice and boiled milk is used as a face wash for pimples.
c)Mixture of lemon juice and cinnamon powder is also very effective for the skin.
d)Fresh garlic should be rubbed around pimples.
e)A mixture of honey and cinnamon powder should be applied on the affected areas.
There are several other home treatments for acne, a number of which work and a few of which do not work. The essential thing is to drink plenty of water, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, get plenty of sleep, clean your face at least twice a day, and take vitamins - particularly vitamin A and vitamin E.
Natural Remedies Acne Scars
1. Mix a fresh limejuice in a glass of boiled milk and apply on the face as a face wash for acne, blackheads, and cracked skin.
2. Prepare a paste of roasted and powdered pomegranate skin with fresh lime juice and apply over boils, acne, blackheads and whiteheads.
3. Wheatgrass is one of the best natural source of healthy nutrients. Drinking wheatgrass juice will help to reduce acne scars.
4. Eat fresh fruits to supply your skin with collagen building vitamin C. You can also smear them onto your face for gentle acid exfoliation. Just puree ? cup of pineapple and smooth it onto your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. Since the pineapple contains ascorbic acid, it will impart a brightening effect on the face, and help reduce acne scars.
5. Your skin needs water to keep the skin plump, to remove toxins, and the build new skin cells. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day to give your skin enough water it needs to reveal healthier, fresher skin.
6. The last but most important thing you need to reduce acne scars is consistency. Acne scars form over a series of weeks, layer by layer. To remove the acne scarring, you need to use acne home treatment on a daily basis to remove the damaged scar tissue layer by layer.
