Natural Remedies For Candida

    View:
It sold over one million copies.

The book, by B.G. Jeffries and J.L. Nichols offered advice, of a moralistic and medical nature, to both men and women, young and old, on proper conduct and social behavior between the sexes.

The following article contains ten selected pieces of advice from the book (slightly edited for the sake of clarity), that offer safe, natural remedies for impotence.

Ten Natural Remedies For Impotence

1. First build up the body by taking some good stimulating tonics. The general health is the most essential feature to be considered in order to secure restoration of the sexual powers. Constipation must be carefully avoided.

2. If the kidneys do not work in good order, some remedy for their restoration must be taken. Take plenty of out-door exercise, avoid horseback riding or heavy exhaustive work.

3. Impotence from mental and moral causes often takes place. Persons of highly nervous organization may suffer incapacity in their sexual organs. The remedy for these difficulties is rest and change of occupation.

FOOD AND DRINKS WHICH WEAKEN DESIRE AND RESULT IN IMPOTENCE

4. All kinds of food which cause dyspepsia or bring on constipation, diarrhea, or irritate the bowels, alcoholic beverages, or any indigestible compound, has the tendency to weaken the sexual power. Drunkards and tipplers suffer early loss of vitality. Beer drinking has a tendency to irritate the stomach and to that extent affects the private organs.

5. Coffee drank excessively causes a debilitating effect upon the sexual organs. The moderate use of coffee can be recommended, yet an excessive habit of drinking very strong coffee will sometimes wholly destroy vitality.

6. It is a hygienic and physiological fact that tobacco produces sexual debility and those who suffer any weakness on that source should carefully avoid the weed in all its forms.

DRUGS WHICH STIMULATE DESIRE

7. There are certain medicines which act locally on the membranes and organs of the male, and the papers are full of advertisements of "Lost Manhood Restored", etc., but in every case they are worthless or dangerous drugs and certain to lead to some painful malady or death.

All these patent medicines should be carefully avoided. People who are troubled with any of these ailments should not attempt to doctor themselves by taking drugs, but a competent physician should be consulted.

8. Eating rye, corn, or graham bread, oatmeal, cracked wheat, plenty of fruit, etc. is a splendid medicine and may help as natural remedies for impotence. If that is not sufficient, then a physician should be consulted.

NATURAL REMEDIES FOR IMPOTENCE : THE TIME FOR INDULGENCE

9. The health of the generative functions depends upon exercise, just the same as any other vital organ.

10. Intercourse should be absolutely avoided just before or after meals, or just after mental excitement or physical exercise. No wife should indulge her husband when he is under the influence of alcoholic stimulants, for idiocy and other serious maladies are liable to be visited upon the offspring.

NATURAL REMEDIES FOR IMPOTENCE : RIGHTLY BEGINNING SEXUAL LIFE.

Intercourse promotes all the functions of the body and mind, but rampant just and sexual abuses soon destroy the natural pleasures of intercourse, and unhappiness will be the result.

Remember that intercourse should not become the polluted purpose of marriage.

To be sure, rational enjoyment benefits and stimulates love, but the pleasure of each other's society (company), standing together on all questions of mutual benefit, working hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder in the battle of life, raising a family of beautiful children, sharing each other's joys and sorrows, are the things that bring to every couple the best, purest, and noblest enjoyment that God has bestowed upon man.
Natural Remedies For Candida
Let's face it, you and most adults and even children, have experienced insomnia or sleeplessness at one time or another. Did you know that it has been estimated that 30% to 50% of the general population have been affected by insomnia, and around 10% have chronic insomnia? This article will explain just what insomnia is, what are some insomnia causes, some insomnia symptoms and insomnia cures.

I will begin with the definition of insomnia. Insomnia is the difficulty of falling asleep or maintaining sleep. And insomnia is not always measured by the number of hours you sleep since everyone varies in sleep needs and practices. Since most of us know what insomnia is and how we feel the next day with one or more sleepless nights before that, not all of us seek treatment and remain unaware of the options available to treat insomnia. I have some interesting things to tell you.

I'll begin with the symptoms of insomnia. Generally there are three types of insomnia, and these are based on how long it lasts.

* Transient insomnia: lasts fewer than four weeks

* Short-term insomnia: the inability to sleep well for four to six months

* Chronic insomnia: the inability to sleep every night or most nights for more than six months

Insomnia symptoms for Transient and short-term insomnia can be caused by stress related factors such as losing a job, marital problems, personal events and just plain worrying about things.

Chronic insomnia symptoms can be caused by medical illnesses like heartburn, menopause, diabetes, and arthritis, sleep disordered breathing, like sleep apnea that cause one to stop breathing while asleep, restless leg syndrome (RLS) which is recurrent movements of the legs during sleep. "Learned" insomnia, where you go to bed worrying about going to sleep. Age, because as we age sleep becomes lighter and more fragmented. And lifestyle factors, like caffeine consumption, alcohol and drug abuse, smoking, poor sleeping habits.

Insomnia treatment can be divided into two areas: Treatment with and without medication.

When people think about insomnia treatment they tend to think about sleeping pills that can become addictive and may just bring up more medical issues. But in my research I have found that there are actually a lot of non-medical therapies and techniques out there that go a long way to help you feel sleepy at night and stay asleep.

Here are few techniques and suggestions I have found.

Develop a sleeping schedule

* Exercise during the day

* Keep a comfortable bedroom temperature

* Avoid stimulating drugs, like caffeine and nicotine right before sleep

* Avoid alcohol

* Avoid heavy meals before bedtime

* Natural remedies, including night time teas and alternative medicines

* Increase exposure to sunlight more in the morning than in the evening

* Relaxation therapy to reduce anxiety and body tension

Your next step? To take what you've just learned and find out more about natural cures and natural remedies for insomnia. Just a moment of your time, it may be a wise choice for you or someone you know and love that is suffering from insomnia.
