You will need some serious lake supplies when you plan to build a lake in your back yard, think about the damp area, will it be too close to the foundation of your home? This will cause some serious damage to the foundation of your house. Now after you have thought of everything, what will you do with the rest of your back yard, you can't surely just leave it if you have a cool lake right in the middle, you could plant a few trees a few flowers and make it look like a sort of getaway, so that when you get home after work you can take a drink outside and sit on the edge of your manmade lake and listen to he water as it passes through your pump, now how does that sound?
