Numerology or numerological divination is the study of number in relation to living things. It was popular in ancient Greece with mathematicians such as Pythagoras. However, throughout the years, it has branched more into the realm of the occult. Today, the relationship of numerology and mathematics follow the same path as astrology and astronomy.

Each number is then assigned to the letters of a name. For instance, the numeric value of Sarah is 1+1+9+1+8 = 20 2+0= 2

In most cases, numerology is deemed more effective if the numbers are plotted against a person's full name. Digital summing is also used for birthdays to get one's lifepath number. Here, MM+DD+YYYY is used.

Numerology and Psychic Readings
