As the competition to get to the top of Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) intensify SEO engineers are finding more and more legitimate ways to help their clients. People dealing with SEO know that one of the major things, aside from meta tags and such things, that really do work and contribute to a good overall SEO campaign is to get inbound links. Relevant and quality inbound links are like a gold mine when it comes to SEO. But just like in a gold mining it is getting to the gold or rather to lots of gold that is the hard part.
There are several ways one can get quality inbound links. Some of the methods used are not exactly technical but all of them contribute to a good SEO campaign. SEO engineers and website owners of course don't really mind which methods are used as long as they are legitimate AND effective. Some of the ways used to get inbound links are: submitting your website URL to directories, including a blog section with RSS in your site so people can subscribe to your blog, buying one-way links from text link brokers, using pay per click ads, submitting press releases, and writing articles to be submitted and posted in other websites.
Of the methods listed above I am most concerned and enthusiastic about the articles. This is because to me it is the closest thing SEO can get to organic link building. Although buying links and using pay per click are also effective there are other long term benefits to writing articles as compared to the other methods. When you write articles first of all you get to participate in the sharing of information as the source. Of course it feels great to have people read about your ideas and benefit from them. This method of link building is to me a noble one since it concentrates not only on what you can get out of it but actually really does something for your readers. Another thing I love about this method is that if you do write great articles readers will eventually associate you with well written quality stuff so that you not only end up building links but your reputation as well. This of course is very important and in the end leads to greater benefits since a good reputation means that more people will eventually be interested in visiting your site to see what you really are all about. Furthermore it of course results to the accomplishment of your original aim, which is to build links, since the more people that do visit your site and that like it then the more people will link back to you.
In the meantime though while all the possible great results that article writing can yield still hasn't come to fruition you already reap the short term rewards which are: the presence of some inbound links from the website(s) that posted your article and an increased publicity for your writing and your site. Just make sure that when you submit your articles the website cites you as source and provides a link to your site either at the beginning or end of the article.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is extremely important for your website on many levels. First and foremost, search engines are one of the foremost ways that people find your site. Other forms of advertising such as print, radio, and television work. However, they do not work as well as Search Engine Optimization. When someone searches for an answer they are at the "moment of truth" or in the cases of commerce the "moment of purchase." Naturally, you want to have the website that most impresses your audience.
One of the best things to do to help increase your search engine friendliness is to submit short and informative articles to free article directories. These directories serve as information hubs for search engines, webmasters, bloggers, and other internet searchers to find the information that they are looking for. By creating short and simple articles on the topics that relate to your business, you create hundreds if not thousands of relevant links back to you site from articles that are on relevant topics. There are thousands of free article directories all over the internet that you can use to syndicate your article in no time and gain more exposure over the internet.
Now you don't have to do all of the work yourself. There are plenty of companies that will write and even submit your articles for you. Starting as little at $250 per month you can be well on your way to search engine friendliness and have your links scattered throughout the internet. Just make sure you use the free article directories that are actually free. There are plenty of so-called directories that charge a fee to submit to. Avoid these. You did the work to write the content. They should be happy to display it.
