The Broadway production of The Producers opened at the St. James Theatre on April 19th 2001. The original musical comedy has had audiences laughing ever since. Based on the Mel Brook's classic movie of the same name which debuted in 1968 tells the story of a man set out o write the most horrible screenplay ever written "A Springtime For Hitler" the playwright most certainly lives up to it's name.
