“I work 50 hours a week, and when I get home, I just want to spend time with him," Jenny said.
A desire to preserve Jack’s childhood through photography eventually led to a kitchen counter covered with loose images. And with very little time to herself and her family, creating scrapbooks was the last thing on Jenny’s mind.
“I’m not the type of person to just sit around, and I would probably have more hobbies if I had more time," she said. “I’ve never been a scrapbooker, but I do have time to lay my images out digitally."
Jenny’s interest in digital photography quickly became an obsession when she discovered the PhotoBook Creator. This new product by Unibind makes creating hardback books, scrapbooks, and photo books from one’s digital pages easy and fun – good news for a busy mom-on-the-go like Jenny.
“A great value to this product is how quickly you can make your book," Jenny said. “Another value of having a PhotoBook Creator in my home is the savings. I spent about $30 plus shipping before when I ordered books online."
But perhaps the greatest value of owning the PhotoBook Creator for Jenny is the ability to create a variety of family albums - what she calls her “catalogs for life." Rather than purchase separate, mismatching albums from her local store, she said the clean and uniform look of the PhotoBook Creator’s cover albums is very appealing.
“I like the idea of having a category of scrap books," she said. “It’s neat to have all these black books with dates on them. It’s like a clean catalog of my child’s life that’s very high-end looking."
Having already made six of these “catalogs," Jenny said her PhotoBook creations – like the growth of her son - show no sign of slowing down.
“I easily make a new book every two months, or for the holidays, or every time we go on a family vacation," she said. “And since I like the catalogs I’ve made so far, I’ve decided that I will definitely keep doing them."
With additional PhotoBook cover albums available at retailers for $9 each, Jenny said she finally found a hobby she can afford both the time and money to continue with – great news for her entire family.
“They make great presents for your mother or grandmother," Jenny said. “I know my mother loves it when she gets a new album of her Jack!"
