Let's face it, a good percentage of singles are on the overweight side. While we all are probably making some effort to at least have a fitness regimen while dating, chances are good that you are going to run into a lady ? or be a lady ? who has some extra weight.



Men in our society are programmed to abhor any ounce of extra fat on a woman. Maxim, Men's Health, and other men's magazines do not exactly put forward the idea that it is hot to lust after any big beautiful woman who is over a size 10. But here is the rub ? a lot of men DO find women with a bit of extra weight attractive, and here is how you find them.

How to Attract Chubby Chasers

First of all, in your profile make sure that you make it very clear that you have some extra weight. You may even want to state your dress size to give him some idea of how overweight you are. Some guys can handle anyone up to a 16, some guys are looking for women over that size. This is very important, as most have a very specific idea of what they are looking for and the more detailed you can get, the more responses you are going to have.

Exercise Your Options

Secondly, don't actively try to lose weight, but make sure that you are doing something to keep yourself healthy. Find a class that you enjoy such as yoga or swimming. Doing a regular activity will give you a noticeable glow and vitality that will make you even more sexy than you are right now. Some guys just have certain preferences and there is nothing you can do about it.

When a guy contacts you, check out his profile for extensive athletic activities. If you find them, ask him directly if the fact that you have a bit of extra weight on you will bother him. Generally fitness nuts are looking for each other, and will not be interested in you. Don't always think that he will be reading your profile ? I would say about 25-40% of the men who contacted me when I was dating did not read my profile beyond the first few lines.

Most of all, enjoy yourself and be confident. Before you go out on a date, psych yourself up by writing down all of the accomplishments that you have achieved in your life, like getting a degree or taking care of your elderly parents. This will bolster your confidence and make you incredibly attractive.
