Buildings that are built of stone have cornerstones at each corner of the building. These cornerstones are made of the strongest blocks the builder has because they are key supports for the building. Your online income stream needs to be based on strong cornerstones as well. Otherwise, the first time you run into tough times your plans will fall apart and you will be left with nothing but disappointment. Do not create an online income without the following critical cornerstones
Critical Cornerstone One - A Clear Goal
Most people think this one is easy, but it is not. If you are going to start an income building project you need to be able to clearly identify what it is you want. Simply saying, I want to make a lot of money is not specific enough. You need to decide how much money you want to generate, and how often you want to generate it. At this point do not worry about how you are going to get it, just decide what it is that you want. Also, as long as you are setting a goal do not make it a small one. Think big! You may have just been getting by for a long time, but it does not have to be that way. Once you decide how much you want and how often you want it you need to write that on a piece of paper and put it in your wallet or purse. Now that you know what you want, and it is now time to move on to the next cornerstone.
Critical Cornerstone Two - A Roadmap
Most people are truly clueless about how to make money online. If that is true for you then you are going to have to do some research. There are thousands of books and programs online that claim they can show you how to make money online. Some are for real and some are flat out scams. The good news is that when you find a good one it will give you a clear roadmap to making money. There are a couple of key things that to consider when searching for possible programs to follow.
1. Is this a program I can afford? Do not get excited about a program that you cannot afford or even afford to have fail. There is always a chance that you will not be successful your first time out, or your second, or your third. Success is on the horizon, but you need to use wisdom.
2. How much time is the process going to take? Some money making programs take a long time to get going and some take a long time to maintain. So, look for one that has a quick reasonably quick start-up time and is not going to consume all your free time. You do not want to become a slave to your income stream.
3. Is this a business you are going to enjoy being in? Even if there is a lot of income involved in a venture, you will never stick with it unless you enjoy what you are doing. So, look for something that you can see yourself doing for a long time.
4.Does the business sound too good to be true? If the business plan sounds just too good to be true then it probably is. Believe it or not a lot of those money making programs do have people who hit it big, but they are the exception and the rule. Take a close look at how the money is generated and if it looks shaky simply move on to the next opportunity. Again, there are thousands to choose from, and one is right for you.
Critical Cornerstone Three - Determination
Some people would tell you that determination is the most important of the cornerstones. I disagree! I agree that there will be tough times to face or everyone would have dump trucks of money in their back yard. However, too much determination will make a sane person stick with an insane plan. If you can see that something is going to work with more hard work then determination is a great thing. If you are just flat stubborn then it is a bad thing. You need to balance determination with wisdom to achieve the right outcome.
Think about how creating an online stream of income could change your life. You deserve to take you life to the next level and these three cornerstones can help it happen. Decide exactly what it is you want, find a good roadmap to follow, and then get determined. Before you know it you will be wondering how you ever got along without the extra income.
Online Income Tax Filing
Starting your own online business can seem a little daunting at first. Sometimes no matter which way you turn you either get contradictory advice, offered opportunities that can only be considered scams or you’re sent sites that expect you to give them money yet they offer very little, if anything, in return. Unfortunately for those new to the world of earning online they can quickly become discouraged and in turn give up on their dream of online income or join what appears to be a good program only to find it’s not what they expected or they are not getting the help and support they deserve.
If you’re new to the idea of earning online (or have been doing it for awhile but with little to no success) there are a few key things you should keep in mind before you start your online venture.
First you need to decide exactly what it is you want to do: Paid to action programs (paid emails, doing surveys etc) for example require very little effort or knowledge, but the monetary return will obviously be quite low (it stands to reason that you’re not going to earn a more than a percentage of a cent to open an email etc), while setting up your own website or blog, affiliate marketing etc does take quite a bit of time and effort but can be extremely rewarding, both income wise and when it comes to using your creative side.
Once you’ve decided what income stream you will be more comfortable with you need to do some research; don’t sign up for the first program/affiliate etc you come across, take the time to find out as much as possible about what is involved with your chosen program/opportunity.
Some of the questions you need to answer are:
Do they provide the support you need? Is there a readily available way to contact them: phone number, business address, forum, email, live chat/support etc?
How and when can you expect to receive your payments?
If payment is required what are their refund policies?
What do others think of the program? You can often check this in a variety of ways: if they have their own forum make sure you browser through it and read any relevant posts, you can also visit other forums and social sites to see if others have any thoughts or comments on your chosen program. Some people may have blogs etc devoted to the program you’re considering – take note of what they say and make contact with them if possible.
You will also want to remember that if it sounds too good to be true it usually is – this is often particularly relevant to the paid to action programs though it’s advisable to bear it in mind with any online opportunity.
Remember too that there are many programs, both free and paid, that want to help you succeed online and will offer you all the advice you need; it’s just a matter of finding them.
Once you’ve selected a few different yet competitive opportunities compare them to make sure you are getting exactly what you need from them. Each online line learning program for example may approach their teaching in a different manner and it’s up to each individual to decide which approach is best suited to their abilities.
These are some of the more common things you need to remember before starting your own online earning but you will also want to apply your own strategies and common sense before you take the plunge and join anything – particularly if it’s going to cost you money.
